I know that some of us guys aren't really close to being gentlemen but most ladies have standards that are just out there.. Everyone has preferences i know but there's this thing about wanting to be treated in a specific way that i tend to think scares alot of brothers ho might make good partners. So i ask is there any Biblical backing for some of the standards you have and don't you think your Father will protect you from wolves in sheep skin by giving you warnings when the wrong type of guy comes. (i would appreciate if i didn't get stick :laugh:) Post Reply

They think to wife is a doormat and a slave. In Genesis, God said I will make a helpmeet, I say that is one of his equal to help. Meet in this case being of equal value. [(meet = match) I will meet your donation] This is a specific letter that Paul address to the faithful in Ephesus. This is what Paul says (not God) as an instruction to the Ephesians. If you read most of Paul's letters he seem to address problems that are in the different churches that he has visited. Husbands also forget to read the duties of the husband. There is more said of his duties and responsibility. Be wise to read the whole book of Ephesians and not just pick on or two verses to prove you chauvinism. Post Reply
