Admin	Profiles with pictures but w/o "About Me" Posted : 10 Jul, 2014 12:56 PM In general, I am turned off by anybody who would not at least take the time to fill out the profile information completely. "Ask me" or "I'll tell you later" just don't cut it either. The lack of effort here, I think, speaks to the effort they might put into a relationship. Plus, I now know nothing about you that would make me want to contact you. But, ladies, if you post a picture of yourself but don't fill out the "About Me" and/or the "Interests," let me tell you what you are going to get - if anybody contacts you, it will be because of your looks and you're body only. It will have NOTHING to do with your personality or who you are, because they do not know who you are (nor can they)! So, do you ladies not care when a guy wants you only for your body? Or is this maybe all you really want from a man? Post Reply

Do you know what they call it when someone claims you said something, but didnt? They call it a LIE! I stated that there have been many posts on this site that basically said, "If someone doesnt have a picture, they are most likely a scammer". That is a truthful statement. I learned a long time ago not to be fooled by the outside "packaging". When I studied art, there were many beautiful models, but inside, they seemed as dark as pitch. Lukia^ View Profile History	Profiles with pictures but w/o "About Me" Posted : 14 Jul, 2014 02:02 AM I agree that more information is good on a profile,but I feel you get to know someone when you communicate.Whatever one puts on the profile some times is very fake.I have talked to guys whose behaviour is very different from the sweet person they have written about on their profiles. So when I contact someone,I don't go by what they have written on their profile but what we teel each other as we get along. I just make sure they are christians then the rest I learn as we talk. I would say that 90% of the messages I would receive would be from guys that just looked at my pictures liked what they saw and messaged without even looking at my About Me section. Post Reply

I'll take it in consideration. But for me, I'm naive and think that everyone should be searching for friendship first. So I don't list my likes because I want us to conversate and learn about each other. If compatibility is based on what we like only i.e. running and eating hamburger, we might miss out connecting with our true mate. Post Reply

Blessings You said you are naive and Id respond with : Christ in you is not! Id suggest you fill out the bio part with things from your heart of what is important to you and what you are looking for. It truly saves yourself frustration because you have painted a picture of who you are and your expectations of whom ypu would like to marry.
