View Profile History	Random Question Posted : 5 Sep, 2010 07:06 AM There is an inherent danger in finding �Too Much Comfort� and solace in being single, unless you are the type of person who �really� likes being single. Many psychologists spring board off of this dynamic, only to have it blow up in their face. Somehow they believe convincing people it is better to be single helps with the pain, loneliness, and frustration of not feeling love. It does not, or it is a short term solution to a long term problem. So then what you have is a semi -content bunch of people who are alone! The Apostle Paul writes it is ok, good, to be single, but it is better to marry than burn with lust! They took a survey of the people in my church singles group recently, asking what was the most rewarding thing about being single. Almost everyone male and female alike said. �Being Independent�. Well independence and marriage do not belong in the same sentence. Whether Christians want to believe it or not, YOU CANNOT, have your cake and eat it to! I no longer go to that group. God never intended that men and women be apart, we have done this to ourselves. Post Reply
