There was a civil war going on for several years and out in the country, every few months, a man would come down from the mountains with a small string of horses and bring them into town. On each horse were full sacks of garbage. Each time the soldiers would search very carefully through each sack, sure that something was being smuggled. But they could never find anything. After the war was over the commander of that post tracked down the man who used to bring the horses down and begged him to tell what they had been smuggling. The man from the mountain said, "Horses". I also, would love to work with at risk students, not meaning those who come from a poor or non-Caucasian background, but those who are not being reached in the schools. Too many children are running around lost, and not being taught the way the should be taught, to their intelligences. Post Reply
