Too Tall?

I was just curious to get some opinions here as too if some of you feel that some guys are too tall to be compatible with and, if so why? I'm 6'6'' and at times if I see a cute young lady I feel reluctant to talk with her if shes a little on the short side, out of fear shes put off by my height, are most women height conscious about men?

Women are usually really shallow about height. The way men are generally about looks, women generally are about height. They all say they want somebody "taller than me" because it goes with the traditional package. If any woman judges you for being "too tall", I'd be shocked, since I have never heard of that complaint from a woman to a man. Women want to be "dainty" and smaller than their man, and men want to be big and strong.

If a woman has a problem with it, it's just her being shallow and you shouldn't be too concerned. On the flip side, tons of amazing "short" guys get overlooked (no pun intended) because they aren't 'tall enough'. Whenever I hear a woman say "at least taller than me," I cringe. It shouldn't matter at all.

I'm glad you recognize that Siylii. Trust me, if something really does go down, the fact that I can draw and open my knife like it's a switchblade is going to keep a girl a lot safer than an extra inch or two of height. Does it bother me? Not really (probably because I've got a head up on most girls). It's just funny to hear girls try to make liking tall guys less shallow than it actually is.

To: Syilli,i want you to know this also.I came accross a lady that has a height of 5'3 & wants a guy whose around the same height as well. She says that this would be good for her because she does'nt have to "break or injure her back or neck when she looks up! So i'm glad that Mr. Zero had brought it up, 'cause i was one who once wondered that myself.

Sorry if I came off strong, it just drives me a little nuts that there's a double standard there... men are shallow for liking pretty women, but women are totally justified in having trivial height preferences.

Lol, as soon as I posted I knew somebody would have story like yours, Mrwiseguy! It's the first I've ever heard of such a thing, and I also think that is quite silly. I guess from certain mechanical aspects I can see how that would be weird... and intimidating...

Just find a tall girl who is longing for a man who makes her feel dainty and petite!

What I don't get are the women that aren't happy with a guy just being taller than her, he has to be significantly taller than her. If she's 5'3" why does the guy have to be 6'0"+?
