My great grandfather died yesterday, we sort of found out about it through my great uncle this afternoon. Will you please pray for my family and I?

Thank you,

Rachel

I remember my great grandmother, she lived to be 104, and rode a bike until she was in her 90's until a dog attacked and bit her. She told of moving from Lindsay to Fresno by covered wagon, it took two weeks, today a drive of about a hour. There were no bridges in those days. She saw man go from horse back to a man on the moon in one life time!

Do you have any good stories to share about your Great Grandfather? She was ready to go, I heard her say, "I don't know how long the Lord is going to keep me here, I wish He would take me soon. As a kid, I could not fathom someone wanting to go soon.

You and your family are in my prayers.

Rachel, I prayed for you. I love you, dear! Its going to be ok. I know that although its difficult to say goodbye to ones who we love we know that they are happy and we will see them again one day. Sending you a prayer, and a warm hug.

Hey Rachel! I have read this a little bit late I'm so saddened by this news!My great-grand mother was like a grand mother to since my father's mother passed away a long time ago & I had never my mother had been abandoned by her mother by at birth.

When my mother had a job in the late 90s at the time as a maid, she had to watch over us on the weekends since our dad left my mother since I was probably around 6 years old.Lord knows how much trouble me & my older sister used to give her! Lol! One evening, knowing that our mother comes at around 05:00 pm,we tried a smart way by telling her that it's 05:00 pm,by changing the clock on the wall to that time, because we wanted to go home that Saturday evening to see XENA on. Local TV by 04:30,since our great-gran didn't had a TV!lol! It kinda backfired because our mom did'nt show up till 07:00 that evening!lol!

I could tell you,it was'nt easy for her to look after us with our mute/autistic brother & all.......She passed away 12 yrs ago smh........

You'll be in my prayers Rachel!
