Ladies: if 1 out of 4 has herpes, not to mention other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD). Is that a concern for you? or is it not, if you are of the position God has picked this man for you?

Then, when are these issues discussed? Most on this site, profess to obstain from pre-marital sex.

How does one "prove" it? Is it totally outrageous to get a doctor's note? I know i would get one to give.

And, hey, let's be gut honest. Who would knowingly date a man with a STD?

the truth is one in four have it. Herpes doesn't mean a person is dirty it is a virus . Some people get it by being molested, raped, or being in a relationship like marriage, where the other person didn't know they had it. Some people have a very mild case of it and it never shows it self. Have you ever had a cold sore? well that is the virus but above the waist, where the other is below ,is everyone with a cold sore to be seen as a leper? no of course not.

so to know if you have it or not you must be tested. People must understand it doesn't make a person bad ,if that where the case then one in four are bad then. say if a person who was not christian contacts herpes and then is saved, are they condemned to singleness the rest of their life? where is the forgiveness and mercy of God in that ? Condoms do stop the virus from transfer, just precautions are needed .

the relationship should be based on love not sex only .so if you met a man who has won your heart in other ways, herpes should be seen as a handicap to be worked around .

so what am i saying, in any relationship today you must go slow work on trust and get tested before moving ahead with the sexually aspect.

hope this helps...
