Posted : 18 Oct, 2010 10:25 PM How important is it to date a good Christian woman? specifically my pastor speaks of me only needing to marry in the church (he means Pentacostal/Apostolic). I'm wondering if its ok to date outside of the church? I'm hoping that when i do ever find someone she would atleast consider coming to church with me, but if she doesn't is that ok? And as for her only being Pentacostal/Apostolic, its hard enough for me to find someone i DO like. I'm just wondering if you ladies could give me some advice? Post Reply
View Profile History	Christian Woman? how important is this? Posted : 12 Feb, 2011 11:47 AM God never said he cared...it was Paul preaching. This had to do with the customs of that day and age. And the "church" has nothing to do with the different denominations, it is the entire body of Christ, those who have been saved through his grace. I have been saved and a part of the churches of Christ and its pretty legalistic, just as your church. I have taken many classes over the biblical text and have come to the conclusion that it is important to marry a woman who believes the same as you, or else it is something that could very well come between you. But that is only if she is willing to accept the doctrine. Post Reply
