Thanks be it to God who has given me a generous heart and a forgiving nature. Today , when i called my future bride the first thing I said to her is I rebuke you. She got a great laugh at that because she knows no matter what she tells me I seek to cover her with love rather than rebuke. You see, I have no need to rebuke her because I trust Gods Spirit as her guide to do this work. It is very freeing to just be able to lavish love and understanding on her. Besides in whatever we do we realise in Christ we are NOT guilty. So why would we treat eachother as they are? We treat eachother as not or never being guilty. This is our life together, this is our fruit....... Post Reply

Heb 12 5And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: 6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye b astards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness. 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Literally, almost all I hear out of modern "Christians" is a the message of "love". Yet all I see is complete failure of this message to produce good fruit in the people. I see broken people, broken marriages, broken children, people living openly in flagrant sin and "pastors" getting wealthy. And this list goes on. Do you not see a problem with this current approach?
