Posted : 24 Jun, 2011 08:45 AM God brings many people into our lives to bless us and remind us of His love, His heart, His plans and purposes for our lives ... to uplift, encourage and inspire us in their faith, their godly character, their walk with Him ... and in our encounters with them, we often receive wise advice from God through them, that helps us to grow in our faith, godly character, and walk with God ... so, I was wondering, in your relationships with others like this, what do you consider the BEST godly advice God has given you through them? I feel blessed to always receive wise advice and encouragement from God through godly brothers and sisters in Christ such as Charles Stanley, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Rebecca E. Ondov and Louise Dumont in their devotional writings and teachings based on what God has taught them in their relationships with Him!!! :yay::applause::hearts: One of the BEST pieces of godly advice that I have received recently came from Charles Stanley ... in his teaching one recent Sunday morning from his First Baptist Church in Atlanta on how to deal with CRISIS in our life, turning it into opportunity ... you can read all that Charles Stanley wisely advised on this topic at his website: intouch.org Love, Steve Post Reply

Posted : 25 Jun, 2011 10:05 AM lol @ above post I guess mine would be in whatever situation or season of life you find yourself in there are always 2 things that make it all worthwhile (or not): 1) To have as few regrets as possible because you did the right thing. Even when it's difficult, especially when it's difficult, you never regret doing the right thing. And 2) Be a good friend. And also as a bonus bit: Suffering isn't something to be embraced or dwelled on. It's something to learn from, move on from, and get stronger. Post Reply

Keeping God's word in our hearts is important because it has the ability to flow when you need it most. I've avoided many paths that could have led to destruction had I not been convicted by the words of the Lord through Scripture. Oh, and love people where they are. Post Reply
