Guys can reply to this alos if they want...

So as you know, winter time is dull, and we are all mainly stuck indoors alot (compared to summer). Because of this Im having a hard time trying to figure out what to do for a date. Summers so much better because you can do anything outdoors, and there are a lot more opportunities. Ive thought of movies, dinner, bowling, coffee shops, the usual mall (just a place to talk and get to know that someone). Are there any other ideas floating out there that I havent thought of to go during winter?

I am assuming you are looking for indoor activities. How about rock climbing, volunteering at some activity (habitat is outside, homeless shelter), learn something new by taking a lesson (dancing, cooking, kickboxing, or some other activity you like).

I hope this helps a little.

How about walking the mall; window shopping. You can stop in the food court for a lite bite you will be warm, can people watch, get some walking in and learn about the date. That would make me happy to enjoy someones company for a few hours staying warm and chatting.

I think Girraffe's idea is lovely! Also, if you did want to go out despite it being winter (depending on your climes where you are!) you could try ice skating maybe. I definitely wouldn't recommend the movies. That's the one thing I would not recommend as one of the first few dates as when the film finishes, you have spent almost 2 hours with someone and don't know them one bit better. If you've got a jazz cafe or something like that around, that can be lovely in winter with a warm cup mocha in hand, opportunity to talk but with a band playing then it's ok to have just listen to the music sometimes and not feel the need to fill the silence! Not even been on many dates myself, so hope that helps! Good luck and have fun!

Thank you for the ideas. I think I'll end up with the mall plan. Plus there are always things and things going on at the mall to spark conversations. It just seems an easy going and relaxed idea.
