Admin	Beards Posted : 19 Dec, 2012 11:39 AM I'd like to get a count. Do you prefer men who are clean shaven or are you alright with men with beards? Romans had a quirky relationship with beards, in early Rome it was the thing to have for patrician Romans, but later in the mid republic to early empire it was frowned upon because beards were seen to be a representation of the uncivilized barbarian. Later in the late empire, beards were both loved and criticized. Emperor Julian was known to have a beard, he wanted to look like a philosopher emperor, but he was criticized for it. I am digressing from the point here. Do you like beardy men? Post Reply
