Has this ever happened to you?

I recently re-watched the movie GOD'S NOT DEAD ... an important element in the plotline was an unexpected problem that two of the main characters had to deal with: getting replacement transportation to travel to the NEWSBOYS concert that they wanted to attend ... They had planned on arriving with plenty of time to do other things before the concert, but God had other, specific plans for their being at this concert's venue at just the right time to bring a blessing into the life of another main character ... so ... inexplicably, to their annoyance and confusion, every vehicle that they tried to use for their road trip wouldn't start ... not until, finally, one of the ministers suggested that they ask God to make it start, which they did, and He did.



This event, reminded me of a similar happening in my life ... Way back in 1978, a group of Christian brothers and sisters and I were traveling from Ohio to Virginia to attend a Christian music fest named FISHNET '78 ... On the way, we camped out at one of the roadside camping areas ... We were all set to enjoy a delicious meal cooked on the portable stove we had brought along, only to discover to our dismay that we couldn't get the stove to start, no matter what we did, according to its starting directions ... Finally, I suggested we do the only thing we hadn't tried: lay hands on the stove and ask God to make it start ... which we did ... and He did!!! :hearts::yay:



So, I was wondering if any of you have ever a similar experience of something not working until you asked God to make it work for you?
