Age Range?

So many females from my experience only allow men within an extremely selective age range to contact them. What is it with this? Is it the indoctrination that all males are immature at young ages? I do believe in courting, and that the man should approach the woman, but it seems that in this era feminism seems to put women on a pedestal, subliminally propagating how they are better than men. Please note that I'm not attributing this world view to all females, and we all have our faults. I'm just speaking from a male perspective. I'm sure there are other females out there who might have similar experiences.

Good morning GBU

I can not speak for all ladies but for me while my profile may say an age. I would have a difficult time mentally with someone who was say as young as my own children or older than my parents. HOWEVER I am trying to be open to anyone as I know it is Gods plan not mine...

Mostly it's a societal thing, which you spoke on. However, it's more that men are looking for younger and women for older. Like forever, arranged marriages were with men to younger women (girls) as they had established a position to financially care for the woman. Also, it's been proven that women (14)mature physically quicker than men (21), so that influences the dating attraction aspects. Men are usually not looking to marry until in late 20s, so you as a 20 year old would not be viewed as a good candidate with prospects to marry. Heck, my ex has the position that he married too young and had children at too young of age... that was 23, 24 respectively, a quarter century ago. Where i grew up that was considered old... (rural midwest)

Age should and can become less clear of an issue as one ages. Certainly people make assumptions about a person based on their age. But that's the situation with dating web sites. given your age, i wouldn't take this too serious or personal. :rocknroll:

goldenstarfish, thanks for the response! I do agree with you that men seem to always look for someone younger in our society, but everyone is not the same. I generally am the opposite of that, since I seem to like someone a bit older, but I am open to all ages.

I also agree that women scientifically mature faster, but not everyone matures the same mentally. There's this myth that men somehow are more immature than women, and I can say that this is among most non-Christians who were never saved, and not convicted by God. The T.V. has put women on the pedestal, and made men look to be rapists, murderers, cheaters, etc. Are there any men's shelters? Actually, my research proves that women cheat more than men. There's so much division of the sexes that was created by the evil one. We are supposed to be the spiritual leaders as males. Why do you think in the Old Testament women were told to keep quiet? Men matured much younger back then because they had to.

I do think it's pushing it if the age range is too wide though, due to experience and life span.

These are just my ideas though, so don't take them too seriously. In all honesty though I think we need to stick to the Bible as the measuring rod of truth, and not society.

One thing I'd like to note. The smiley you posted is the cornuto hand sign which is used by Satanists. I'm not trying to upset you, but I really wish for my fellow brethren to know of these things.
