Age Range?Posted : 22 Jul, 2009 03:51 AMSo many females from my experience only allow men within an extremely selective age range to contact them. What is it with this? Is it the indoctrination that all males are immature at young ages? I do believe in courting, and that the man should approach the woman, but it seems that in this era feminism seems to put women on a pedestal, subliminally propagating how they are better than men. Please note that I'm not attributing this world view to all females, and we all have our faults. I'm just speaking from a male perspective. I'm sure there are other females out there who might have similar experiences. |

Age Range?Posted : 24 Jul, 2009 12:41 PMMostly it's a societal thing, which you spoke on. However, it's more that men are looking for younger and women for older. Like forever, arranged marriages were with men to younger women (girls) as they had established a position to financially care for the woman. Also, it's been proven that women (14)mature physically quicker than men (21), so that influences the dating attraction aspects. Men are usually not looking to marry until in late 20s, so you as a 20 year old would not be viewed as a good candidate with prospects to marry. Heck, my ex has the position that he married too young and had children at too young of age... that was 23, 24 respectively, a quarter century ago. Where i grew up that was considered old... Age Range?Posted : 25 Jul, 2009 03:25 AMgoldenstarfish, thanks for the response! I do agree with you that men seem to always look for someone younger in our society, but everyone is not the same. I generally am the opposite of that, since I seem to like someone a bit older, but I am open to all ages. |
