CHRISTMAS BLESSINGS: SPECIAL ORNAMENTS

I love, love, barefoot love to purchase "special ornaments" as one of my Christmas gift blessings for loved ones!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts:

So I was wondering if any of you enjoy doing this too and what memories you have of the "special ornaments" on your trees? Please share with us some of those.

Last year it was my heart's joy to purchase and give a "special ornament" to my closest friend on behalf of her beloved dog (from him on the gift tag) that was a happy, smiling, little repilca dog of his breed: a black lab!!! :hearts::hearts::hearts:

Love to all of ya in my heart in Christ,

Steve

Yes, as the kids were growing up, special ornaments they would make in school for our tree. My son was born Dec 14, 1994, so my sister made a special heart with a baby boy in it that Christmas. My sister got each of them a sandollar ornament one year with their name on. When they were smaller we made ornaments to put on our tree aslo. Fond memories thinking about that today!!

I have many many special ornaments. None "plain", as in dangly balls, but all special for the memories but mostly because of the person who made them or gave them to me. But I don't like people to give them to me. Honestly, I have so many now I can't get them all on the tree. I would really not like to get a new one every year.
