Posted : 17 Mar, 2011 05:43 AM When I started driving, not having a curfew (or not having one enforced) so I could spend as much time as possible away from my home! When I was a junior in high school, my best friend and I were frustrated that our parents wouldn't let us go anywhere together, even if we took more people and had separate rooms (he was a boy). So we decided that we were going to Mexico without leaving Michigan! Everyday we put on some self-tanning lotion - the stuff that supposedly makes you turn orange - but the first day we put it on once every hour. And then we went to different Mexican restaurants, the World Market, and the beach and took pictures. We even tried to take pictures inside of a really expensive hotel, but they wouldn't let us. No one believed us (they said we looked too cold at the lake and everyone knew exactly where we were) but it was the best Spring Vacation ever! Post Reply
