Posted : 24 Apr, 2011 10:02 AM SINGLEHOOD according to Paul is there of a blessing, for such state we can give all but our undivided attention for the work of God... But would you agree with me that down deep inside in a man's or woman's heart is the longing to be love and to belong. That sometimes i thought stepping out from the will of God just to pursue such so called love will make me happy, only to end up in anguish and pain... I hope my heart will learn to wait upon the will of God? knowing that by faith the right man will come along.... Post Reply

I bring this before the Lord in prayer: Marriage and family were Your idea! :applause: I am learning to trust Him more and be patient and listen to Him and walk out what I know to be His will while searching (purity, discernment, not compromising faith or values). But that doesn't mean I have to be completely passive, I am still putting myself out there. :waving: There may also be learning and repairs required in our lives, due to growing up in a sinful, fallen world and not always having the healthiest examples. We only fully heal in relationship, but the healthier we are when selecting a date or mate, the more wisdom will be available for our choices.:peace: May God bless each of you abundantly with the knowledge of His faithful presence and Great love for you, and the nourishing experience of giving and receiving grace and love in the body of Christ.
