The perfect plan of God is for man to hear the word of God as a sinner or one that is called lost, then man will have a ear to hear or he will not hear it is his choice, and then he will either believe with the heart, or choose not to believe, and then the confession of his mouth is his mixing of faith with the word of God.
Acting on these verses will save you: Romans 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
These verses are Seed, They are Faith, They are Spirit, they are Light, They are Incorruptible!!1
You mix faith with these verses and say it with your mouth it will return to the father and then unto you producing the very truths proclaimed here. You are then saved, born again by the word of God, and then the Holy Spirit will do his part and bring the word of God into manifestation.
finally a post i can almost agree with. You got the scripture right, but what you say before and after is unbiblical.
Romans 8:28 - 30 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his son that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he predestined, these he also called; whom he called, these he also justified; and whom he justified, these he also glorified.
No mam, Jesus is not out of order, the issue is context and what you posted has nothing to do with what I said. Light never puts out light!!
Romans 8:28 has nothing to do with man accepting Jesus, nor does it have anything to do with who can be saved.
Romans was written to Christians, this context is about all things working together for good, to those that are called to his purpose And, And that maketh intercession!! Context.
Rightly dividing the Gospel The Gospel is the word of God, you must determine by context who is being spoken to.
Romans 10 was written to the church to assure them, reaffirm to them of the gospel to the lost, in other words the gospel to the church was, showing them the gospel to the lost. Romans 10!!!
The Book of Romans was written to those that had also received the Holy Spirit, you can not be a doer of Romans 8, without the Holy Spirit.
Lu 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him.
Ac 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
Ac 8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Ac 8:17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Of course God's word is correct, but you are not talking about God's word, you are talking about Calvinism, and I do agree with what you said except in reverse, concerning heresy.
28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
dljrn04,
You cling to those verses of Scripture like Jack in the movie Titanic.
Those verses actually prove you Wrong.
29 For whom he foreknew...
Foreknew(Knowledge of BEFOREHAND)
And the reason God can do this is because God is Omni-Prescient.
God knows what is going to happen in The Future. Therefore God Knows just Whom will Obey Him and Follow Jesus and thusly God KNOWS whom to be Destined
to be conformed to the image of his son.
BUTyou Calvinist do not Allow God this Power because you need to believe that
God Causes Everything to happen
There-to-foreGod KNOWS the future because God Creates the future. Lets seeisnt that called Tautology?
Calvinist cannot allow God that Powerthat Ability because it would then make that Scripture mean just what it says:
That God KNEW who would Believe and who would not before their birth.
All before the Birth of Any BELIEVER! Can God do this? Does He have The Power?
Of Course God Does! But ask a Calvinist and they will tell youNO!
