The father never changes and is always faithful to his word but it is not to say he will do for man, what man's responsibility is to the covenant. I am to be a doer of the word of God by being a hearer of the word of God, one that hears the word of God from his heart, not his mind and the I am to be one that believes from my heart (Spirit) and then mix faith with the word of God heard. First things it is my responsibility to keep the word of God in my ears continually and before my eye's continually, for you can be no stronger than the level of the word of God in you on any topic. Concerning the oil for my lamp in the new Covenant you will find that the Holy Spirit is symbolic of oil and the gift of the Holy Spirit is a gift to the church, he is not for the world to receive. Satan has spread many different lives among Christians concerning this topic, but a careful new study well reveal the urgency the lord put upon Christians receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost that always occurred in the following the new birth. You will never be filled with the Holy Ghost until you receive The Holy Spirit and continue to be filled for it is a never ending process. It is vital that you study the word of God with a heart to believe and not doubt that you might not be ashamed concerning this truth. The first time you see it spoken in the new testament was in the book of Acts and when they where filled they all spoke. The bible was not written to people who where in the dark concerning the Gift of the Holy Ghost. Be encouraged to walk in this truth and do in always until Jesus comes. Post Reply

Did anyone ever notice how little attention Jesus paid to his public relations ?...Even when people didn't understand at all and accused Him of Horrific things, He never rose to His "own" defense and He never let it deter Him from what He knew Father had asked Him to do...Don't "feed" off "your need" to be "more right" than othrs... You can't LOVE what you are Competing against...and if your Keeping Score...you can be sure you are competing... Hope this Bring some "LIGHT" to a darkened world...Be Blessed...xo Post Reply

I do agree Jesus did not typically defend what he said, but I also notice when some did understand what he was saying the ask him to clarify.
