Hebrews chapter '6':Falling away

Hello everyone:

I believe there are a few people which believe they are able to LOSE their salvation,

Or rather to have been saved and then to become UNSAVED do to sin,or by walking away from Yeshua.

The Scripture which most people go to is found in Hebrews chapter 6,verses 1-6.

Could we look into the Scripture to find if this is ACTUALLY saying that a person is able to become 'UNSAVED'.

I will be using the King James Version,as this is closest to the actual understanding.

Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

Heb 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Heb 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

Let us take verses 4-6 and tend to these.

In these next few verses pleas note that we are dealing with a RHETORICAL question here.

Heb 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

Heb 6:5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

Heb 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

In these verses is addressed the 'IMPOSSIBLITY' of a person which has become UNSAVED,to become saved again.

The arguement for this is found in verse 6.

Yeshua would have to be 'CRUCIFIED' every time a person would become unsaved, and then save that person again.

Actually, this person would need someone else to be going to Calvary, seeing that Yeshua had gone ONLY ONE time.

Rom 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Now the question is this.

When a persons sins, commits sin;has sin yet hates the sin and wants freedom.

Is their Salvation in Jeopardy,or is the FELLOWSHIP broken.

Is ones RELATIONSHIP removed,or is the FELLOWSHIP broken.

A person turns their back and walks away.

Does the GOOD SHEPHERD go after His wayward sheep?

When you answer please give Biblical responses only.

Shalom and Chesed

The Farmer

.George why would you ask for a biblical response to a non biblical question.

One most believe the word of God with the heart just as it is taught, and then follow the holy spirit and you will have your biblical answer.

The answer can not be found of those that reject the teaching of faith, there is no faith in the term trusting yeshau.

Now the question is this.

When a persons sins, commits sin; has sin, yet hates the sin and wants freedom.

Is their Salvation in Jeopardy, or is the FELLOWSHIP broken.

*** SalvationNO !!!A Born Again Believers Salvation can not be Lost unless they Turn Away from GOD/Jesus as Satan didFellowshipYES !!!If Turned Away and in SinFellowship is Broken

Is ones RELATIONSHIP removed, or is the FELLOWSHIP broken.

*** Realationship RemovedNO !!!This will Only Happen at the Last JudgementJesus will say I Never Knew YouBecauseHe was Not Accepted for Who and What He ISand What He Did for UsthereforeFellowship BrokenYES !!!

*** In the Beginning...SIN separated Us from GOD...the Relationship & Connection was Broken...And we can All Agree that is Why Christ Jesus came into the world...To Save Sinners by Paying the Ultimate Price of His Own Selfless Act and to Give Us a Clear Pathway back to the Father...SIN ( does ) Separate people from GOD Today...

This Scripture further on into Hebrews is very SeriousMuch Prayer and Meditation must be given to it

What we need here and in the case of all things that can be discussed is revelation, instead of an explanation.

This Epistle was written to the Jewish Christians during the time of the persecution form the Jews and then the Romans because they were reverting back to the practices of the old testament ways so that they would endure the persecution.

The Author ( It is disputed as to the Author of the epistle is but it is certainly NOT Paul or Peter because of the style of the Greek that it was written in. Most scholars agree that it might be Apollos.) is strictly trying to get the Jewish Christians to see the importance of suffering in the faith and the benefits they are receiving in Christ while admonishing them that by going back to the law of Moses and under the Jewish protection would be unproductive and unworthy of Christ.

This has nothing to do with losing one's salvation, brothers and sisters.

May the Lord of lights be manifest in your hearts with the evidence of his loved to show for it.

Agapeton this scripture is nothing of what you said in context but it is totally related to Acts 2:4, you can not approach the word of God mentally, one either accepts it, or rejects the truth.

This is a fact the bible was written to spirit filled people, that had received the Holy Ghost as the book of Acts exhorted all to do and they had walked in that truth and if they turned around and at a later time turned their back on it their came a time of no repentance just as the word declares.
