IF Jesus was so against the idea of corporate worship..

Then WHY are we in Christ SO DEAD SET against Him by going back to what he came to change?

Has it dawned on anyone that Jesus Christ was a REVOLUTIONARY teacher - radical prophet - provocative preacher - contraversialist - iconoclast - and the biggest opponent of the religious establishment?

Granted, Our Lord is loving and non judgmental with us, His Bride, BUT He did NOT COMPROMISE with the TRADITIONS that His people were held CAPTIVE by. He constantly defied the traditions of the Scribes and Pharisees. The Pharisees were those who, for the sake of their own truth, tried to cover up the truth they couldn't see. That is why Jesus always went up against the "traditions of the elders".

Jesus healed on the Sabbath. He healed a blind man by mixing clay and spittle and putting it on his eyes. He ate with unwashed hands. All of these were man's traditions according to how one should conduct, worship, and live as a God fearing man. Jesus came to do away with that.

When Christ came, He did away with religious rituals, clergy, and sacred buildings. This was strictly followed by Christianity for the first 300 years knowing the only sacred building that was raised up was Christ's body, and then later His body, the assembly of saints. When Christ was here He said that no one would worship in, or on a geographical location anymore.

So with this in mind, I ask you:

Why was it SO important to change this formula knowing that the only building we dwell in is the Spiritual one and still take pride and push the material building that we sit in?

Any thoughts?

Joh 4:19 The woman said to Him, Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.

Joh 4:20 Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you say that in Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary to worship.

Joh 4:21 Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me that an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

Joh 4:22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is of the Jews.

Joh 4:23 But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. For the Father also seeks such, the ones worshiping Him.

Joh 4:24 God is a spirit, and the ones worshiping Him must worship in spirit and truth.

People have been trained from their youth not to be questioning those in authority.

Yet people are aslo trained to not think for themselves.

With this type of understanding,it is not hard for these people to be lead astray..

One of the best things Yeshua had accomplished was, to make the people to be thinking without having to be going to others all the time.

Mar 8:27 And Jesus and His disciples went out to the villages of Caesarea of Philip. And in the way, He questioned His disciples, saying to them, Whom do men say Me to be?

Mar 8:28 And they answered, John the Baptist, and others say Elijah; but others, one of the prophets.

Mar 8:29 And He said to them, And you, whom do you say Me to be? And answering, Peter said to Him, You are the Christ.

Too bad, many people do not read and STUDY the word of YHWH with understanding.

For if the people had understanding, then the charlitans and HUGE buildings and so-called ministries would be removed.

Shalom

I am not smart enough to put into words everything that I kniw, sometimes you just understand that you cant put into words, but if your are driven by your fkesh then your understanding of scriptures will be distorted by your flesh driven understanding! This I think is one reason we are to die to our flesh! If we crucifiy the flesh then we will have nothing that stands in between us and the truth, the flesh is alwasy an obstacle in everything in life, it is an obstcle in understanding the word, its an obstacle in proclaiming it and an obstacle in being a do'er of the word, you cant live this life of Christ with all that flesh1 and I still say that secular music feeds the flesh and the more we feed our flesh the biger it gets

Elisha, IF you notice the text, those are geographical locations, dear.

Jesus said that neither in Jerusalem or on a mountain will He be worshiped....

Any other questions?
