Matthew 9:11-13 The Pharisees said to Jesus disciples "Why is your Teacher eating with the tax gatherers and sinners?". But Jesus heared and said " it is not those who are healthy who need a physician but those who are sick ..........for I did not come to call the righteous but sinners"
There is a common misconception that believers must be perfect. Pretending to have our lives in order many of us wear faces and speak words that make us acceptable.
salvation through Jesus doesn't change the fact that sin will always be part of us, when we are born again God sees us as righteous but we sometimes choose to sin and that is why we have repentance, to confess our sins and turned away from them, so renew our relationship with God.
We can never be perfect, only God is perfect, in fact seeking for perfection can pull us away from living a Godly life.
The world sees wealthy individuals as self sufficient, but Christ don't care about wordly possesions, intead he wants us to be aware of weakness, because brokeness is the foundation of Godliness.
Apostle Paul said, when I am weak then I am strong. That means when we totally surrender and humble ourselves, God empowers us. We should accept our needness and seek God passionately.Doind this we developes these characters, a hunger for God's word, faithful service, deepning trust and decision making based on God's principles instead of preverebce,Patiently and mercifully Godmatures us.
We must becareful not to cover our sins in order to look like a good Christian but confess them. Without recognision and confession we will never be able to fully rely on God. It is only with the awareness that we can passionately seek Him, obey in His strength and confess with repentance, when we make mistake
It is when we passionately seek Him, obey in His strength and confess with repentance when we make mistakes that is when we can start living a Godly life.
Aprat from Yeshua,and His attributes,Righteousness,
Holiness,Sanctification,and His perfection being IMPUTED to me;
Then i would be standing before YHWH completely naked, and undone.
Isa 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Isa 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
Isa 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
Isa 6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
Isa 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
Isa 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
Isa 6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
Only as the Holy Spirit EMPOWERS me,is there any moving towards YHWH.
Yet i do not depend upon my godliness, but on the GODLINESS of Yeshua.
The posting is not saying Man is Godly in anyway, but that man can live a Godly life, when we accept our weakness, that we cannot do anything without God, then God will empower us to live the way God wants us to live. When we totally surrender our strength, then we can oprate in His strength.

According to your reply,i find that you are saying that man is in control, not YHWH.
WE ACCEPT our weakness.
WE TOTALLY SURRENDER OUR STRENGTH.(caps for my own preference).
As believers in Yeshua does anyone have PERFECT faith,so as not to vacilate between faith and unbelief?
Does any believer in Yeshua ACTUALLY SURRENDER all of their strength.
Or does YHWH move in the life of His people in spite of their weaknesse and inability to TOTALLY surrender.
Your reply seems to infer that man,not YHWH is in control of the life of the believers.
That YHWH 'IS NOT ABLE TO DO ANYTHING UNLESS I TOTALLY SURRENDER'.
Sounds like James' post about those claiming to being a god needs some reading.

ps
Yeshua knows what each and every person needs in order to be living according to HIS will.
He will provide that which is necessary to accomplish this,
WHether chastisment, brokeness,to be made penniless, maybe to break every bone in a persons body if necessary.
Yet He will do this in Love,in order to show HIMself to that person.
When we submit to God , He will empower us to resist the devil. God give us free will, He doesn't force Himself on Us. Is either we do His will or we do our will. There is no partial submission, but total submission. Jesus wished the Cup be taken away from Him, but He realized God is not going to compromise His way, so he said NOT MY WILL BUT YOUR WILL BE DONE.
We cannot do nothing on our own, but we can do all things through Christ because He is the source of our strength, WE CAN TOTALLY SURRENDER WHEN WE HUMBLE OURSELVES THEN HE WILL EMPOWER US TO DO WHAT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO ON OUR OWN.
He wants us to be Holy, not perfect, that is why we get opportunity to repent when we sin and renew our relationship with him.

YES GEORGE AMEN AMEN AMEN:applause::applause:
just like a shepard will break his sheeps leg to keep it from wondering off, how much more does The good shpeard do what he needs to do to get us to a place where we wont run off? He will bring us to the very end of ourselfs even if it means completly losing everything to make us see our need for him! He loves us that much
I hear and see so many people who think and imply that being a christian is a bowl of cherries it couldnt be further from the truth!
The truth is God is gonna take us through things just like the I heard a message once called gethsemene place of the press and it talked about How Jesus was being pressed in te garden which was where the olives grew and there was a big press there that the olives were turned into oil the were somehow pressed with stones anyway this is what God does to us, olives alone are and were not very valuble but olive oil was very valuble and I heard another one a long time ago called the wheat in the threashing floor and its about the same type thing what God is doing to us to make us what he wants us to be is sometimes painful and hard not easy and quick , we spent all of our lives being rotten sinners and he is doing whatever he can to get that out of us! Furthermore on the other side of things whatever God is not doping to us to make us what he wants us to be, satan is doing to us to make us want to quit or he is tempting us to turn around and go back to our sin! So this life is not an easy one like the woprld would say it is, but the things is and this is how I see it,
well a good example is being in love, when you are in love with someone if there is somehing you need to do for that person or they want you to do it, it may be something hard to do or something youjust dont like doing, but if you really love that persdon its not a burden, I have learned this when I was married! I always hated to clean up and cook (thast when I ws younger) I was 19 when I first got married and I hd a full time job taking care of old people, my husband worked at a factory and I had to clean up the huse and cook him supper before I had to be to work by 3 in the afternoon, I was tired I worked till 11 every night and then had to get up and fix him breakfast before he had to be to work at 7 in the morning, in fact we only had one cart so I had to take him to work and he had to et a ride home, If I hadnt loved him it would have been a burden but because I loved himI did it with a smile and I did it out of love! Same thing with the Lord I love him so the things I bear in this life are not a burden not at all!
And our peasce is not the peace that the world knows , iI saw a painting that was suposed to represent peace and what it was, was a raging storm and in the midst of the storm was a tiney little bird in a nest sleeping, thats peace, not the absence of the storm but the feeling of being safe from harm in the middle of it, thats peace!
The storms will come but we know the one who created all things so we have no need to fear anything
