The word of God is good medice, when we realize that we are sick and we need Jesus, and we accept him as our Lord and Savior and we start walking according to the word, we become believers and we start to recieve His blessings. Posted : 16 Jan, 2012 10:04 AM Sometimes it is difficult to be put into words the diffination of a believer...this past saturday at a "recovery" meeting a young gal got up to share...she said she had been doing everything that is suggested in the 12 step program and praying to a God she didnt even believe in...she paused with tears in her eyes...and continued with...you know when you tell a lil child bout Jesus being God and that He died for our sins and the lil child jus "Believes" without question ???...She continued and said..I dont know what happened to me this morning when I was praying to this God...but I came to "Believe" jus like in Step 2...and...I know He is Real...and I Trust him...Made me get all weepy eyed for I saw this broken child in Complete Surender to out Lord Christ Jesus...Praise GOD !!!...xo Post Reply

The one essential condition of admission into the Christian community was, that men should believe in Jesus Christ (Ac 16:31). The actual experiences of the men thus denoted varied with all the possible degrees and modifications of FAITH (which see). Believers are nowhere in the New Testament distinguished as a subordinate class from the "Christians who know" as in the Gnostic antithesis of pistikoi and gnostikoi, "believers" and "knowers." He gave His all, He wants our all, but He will not force us to give our all, until we realize His all, and we volunraily give him our all. Post Reply

View Profile History	WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF A BELIEVER?. Posted : 16 Jan, 2012 10:46 AM I really never thought of it until I was asked one day while I was being admitted to the Hopsital. I told the lady I was a believer, she got real frustrated with my answer because I would not give her a religious answer and I was not trying to be diifficult. It always amazed me how some that said they where Christians, told you what they believed the word of God said, instead of believing what is said. It is not popular in a lot of religious circles to believe the word of God for some THINK they have to tell The Lord what He meant. If you notice the word believe or that form is used over two hundred times in the new testament. My definition of believe is acting as though the word of God is true, and being diligent to stay in that posture, for the unbelieving will try to complicate the word of God. There is no Discussion it is the truth. Now if we can get some to believe the word of God concerning The Holy Spirit we would turn the world upside down overnight. Post Reply

You do well, The Demons also believe, and shrudder". The Demons believe that God is one, but they rebelled against God. Faith without works is useless. Knowing the word without application of the word to your life doesn't make you a believer, when you believe you surrender your will and do God's will. Blessings. Post Reply
