"Free willers" say: nope i chose Posted : 19 Apr, 2012 05:22 AM Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace 8 which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9 having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, 10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth--in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, 12 that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. 13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Lu 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Lu 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Lu 8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away. Lu 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. Lu 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. Those that have an ear to hear will receive the word of God just as Jesus said and if anyone notice's, all in this revelation received the word of God. It was by their choice but we also some did not continue by choice. To speak anything less than this simple truth is choosing words of death and proclaiming death. Post Reply

There is also a "gods" preceding "girl," which I know you like to subtly leave out because then you get to not only call into question my faith ("Psh! You think you're God's? I'll show you!") as well as talk down to me (by calling me "girl"). It isn't a difficult user name at all, and I'd appreciate it if you used it. If you would like to use my given name, it's Ruth. Either one is acceptable. I'll even accept an abbreviation such as GG, which is shorter than adding gratuitous numbers. Or, you don't need to address me at all, since usually the forum is pretty clear as to the thread of conversation. If your points are so valid, these simple things shouldn't pose a threat. If you need to assert your dominance by mistyping my name, not unlike a dog that goes around marking trees, that says a lot about your posts to begin with. We just believe the choice was made by God. The scriptures you posted do not say otherwise, if we are being honest. Post Reply
