Is completed just as it is started in the heart of man by a choice and followed up by a corresponding action according to the word of God
Acts 2:37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Acts 2:40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
I know exactly what it says and that is what my response was based on do you see it in the light of the word of God, or according to reformation theology. I believe you see it in what you have accepted as truth (reformation theology).
You would have to step back and approach the word of God by faith, and allow the lord to open your eyes and he will.
I know my father died for all men, there is a difference in that statement that ultimately any believer should come to if they are walking in the light as he is in the light, it is the truth you KNOW that will set you free.
I. The grace of faith, whereby the elect are enabled to believe to the saving of their souls,[1] is the work of the Spirit of Christ in their hearts,[2] and is ordinarily wrought by the ministry of the Word,[3] by which also, and by the administration of the sacraments, and prayer, it is increased and strengthened.[4]
II. By this faith, a Christian believes to be true whatsoever is revealed in the Word, for the authority of God Himself speaking therein;[5] and acts differently upon that which each particular passage thereof contains; yielding obedience to the commands,[6] trembling at the threatenings,[7] and embracing the promises of God for this life, and that which is to come.[8] But the principal acts of saving faith are accepting, receiving, and resting upon Christ alone for justification, sanctification, and eternal life, by virtue of the covenant of grace.[9]
III. This faith is different in degrees, weak or strong;[10] may often and many ways assailed, and weakened, but gets the victory:[11] growing up in many to the attainment of a full assurance, through Christ,[12] who is both the author and finisher of our faith.[13]

[3] ROM 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

[5] JOH 4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. 1TH 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe. 1JO 5:10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. ROM. 4:19-20 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, heither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. MATT 6:30 Shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? [13] HEB. 12:2 Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
"Truth"Carrier said - "I know my father died for all men,"
Actually, it was His only begotten son who died and he died for some men - Israel ( the Israel of God, the eklektos, the sheep) "Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins" Acts 5:31
Now, the question is, will you believe what's written in the word or will you still follow your false Arminian theology?
"Truth"Carrier said - "I know my father died for all men,"
I am well aware of Jesus redemption, as I am aware of who my spiritual father is. Do you know that Jesus is also referredto as the everlasting father.
Actually, it was His only begotten son who died and he died for some men - Israel ( the Israel of God, the eklektos, the sheep) "Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins" Acts 5:31
The statement that he died for some men as a doctrine of men, by those that refuse to hear the word of God and the atonement of man.
Now, the question is, will you believe what's written in the word or will you still follow your false Arminian theology?
There is no question of armenian theology, no more than there is a question of refromation theology, It is of those that believe or those that refuse, reject the truth. This a common tactic of men to draw the attention away from the word of God.
1 Pet 2:6 For thus it stands in Scripture: Behold, I am laying in Zion a chosen (honored), precious chief Cornerstone, and he who believes in Him [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] shall never be disappointed {or} put to shame.
2:7 To you then who believe (who adhere to, trust in, and rely on Him) is the preciousness; but for those who disbelieve [it is true], The [very] Stone which the builders rejected has become the main Cornerstone,
2:8 And, A Stone that will cause stumbling and a Rock that will give [men] offense; they stumble because they disobey {and} disbelieve [God's] Word, as those [who reject Him] were destined (appointed) to do.
Read the word and believe it. Why do some disbelieve the Word? Because they were destined to do so. Period.

Without exception you present the word in reformation theology's opinion (mental assent), it is also called the traditions of men, the way of Cain.
The word of God that was established from the very beginning has never changed, mankind was and is still blessed, whether they are lost or in the family of God.
The first step in the beginning of bible faith in the heart of man is having an ear to ear, it is and always has been man's choice.
IWA without exception you disregard everything and anything that is posted by a believer, that is an example of what Jesus taught as man that has past tense hardened his heart.
