Hello everyone:

The idea of man having a 'free wil' to CHOOSE yESHUA TO SAVE THEM FROM THE WRATH of GOD against sin(s) is not Biblical.

The only person in this entire life with a 'FREE WILL' is GOD ALMIGHTY Himself.

GOD is completely free to do and to choose to say and do anything he wants, because His Will is completely free from any SIN,PREJUDICE,LYING,PARTIALITY,and self centeredness.

GOD ALWAYS,says and does what id right.

For everything He says and does is measured according to His Character, and His Word.

Man is bound to this life, and his own being.

EVery part of mans body tells him or her what to be doing.

Do not go to the bathroom for a day,and tell me about your so-called free will.

Your bladder, and your bowels will be motivating you to do the very things which you had set out not to be doing.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

John 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

Hey Arch,and EVERYONE else:

I have stated before,I not a CALVINIST.

I follow Yeshua,not calvin.

The New Covenant shows the impossibility of any man, woman or child to trust Yeshua of their own will.

IF,YHWH had not given FAITH to the believers, then no one would be saved.

Luk 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the one being lost.

Where in this Scripture does the lost person look for the seeking Saviour.

Does any one understand what 'Being dead and in your trespasses means'.

Dead does not say that you have some type of life with which to choose Yeshua.

Dead means to be a 'CORPSE'

A CORPSE CANNOT RESPOND TO YESHUA.

The corpse needs life first.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Eph_2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

English-Dead

Greek-Nekros

dead

Original Word: νεκρός, ά, όν

Part of Speech: Adjective

Transliteration: nekros

Phonetic Spelling: (nek-ros')

Short Definition: dead, a corpse

Definition: (a) adj: dead, lifeless, subject to death, mortal, (b) noun: a dead body, a corpse.

3498 nekrs (an adjective, derived from nekys, "a corpse, a dead body") dead; literally, "what lacks life"; dead; (figuratively) not able to respond to impulses, or perform functions ("unable, ineffective, dead, powerless," L & N, 1, 74.28); unresponsive to life-giving influences (opportunities); inoperative to the things of God.

3498 /nekrs ("corpse-like") is used as a noun in certain contexts ("the dead"), especially when accompanied by the Greek definite article. The phrase, ek nekron ("from the dead"), lacks the Greek article to give the sense "from what is of death."

Full context:

l Eph 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Eph 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Eph 2:3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Eph 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Eph 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

English-Quickened

Greek-sood-zo-op-oy-eh'-o

to make alive together with

Original Word: συζωοποιέω

Part of Speech: Verb

Transliteration: suzopoie

Phonetic Spelling: (sood-zo-op-oy-eh'-o)

Short Definition: I make alive together with

Definition: I make alive together with.

Word Origin

from sun and zopoie

Definition

to make alive together with

NASB Word Usage

alive together (2), made...alive together (2).

Who was DEAD in trespasses and sins. vs 1

Who had mercy and loved whom vs 4

Who QUICKENED WHOM! vs 5

Who raised up whom vs 6

Simple questions to this very very simple problem.

Yes George but that passage is not in contrast to this one:

But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

It does not matter the size of the tire George it still has to go down this road, faith is not given as you imply. nor is it a gift, when you break it down is a actually, a process that involves the will of man all the way or it is not faith, Faith is man's responsibility.

The father that started did it by faith, the son does it by faith, and his children are required to live by faith.

POIC writes - "Do not go to the bathroom for a day,and tell me about your so-called free will. Your bladder, and your bowels will be motivating you to do the very things which you had set out not to be doing."

Well that's a definite bad example of not having free will. The 'free will' being spoken of is that of the offer given or presented before you [the free gift of salvation] and the ability or option to choose [accept or reject]. But... to use your example... okay, you set out to not use the bathroom for a day; that is what is presented or placed before you. But in order to decide to not go to the bathroom for a day, you have to have the ability to choose in order to even make that choice, because, after all, you "set out to not do it". Sure, you can wait until it's too late [bound to your own being] and wished you'd used it, but then, that was your choice, therefore it's your fault that you just made a mess of yourself. But do you think at any given time, you couldn't just say, "Forget this! I'm going to the bathroom!"?

The free gift of salvation is offered to everyone. And everyone has the option to accept that gift or reject it. No one ever forces a gift on anyone. Neither does God.

Thank you Saved,

I do not see how it can be explained any "Clearer" than what's been shown!

Passed Over...Of Course it is God that Applies His Grace and Of Course Man is DEAD in SIN until God's Grace

Makes Man NEW...REBORN.

It is Baptism that Regenerates Man and makes Man Capable to Respond to God's Word.

That is why it is so Important to be Baptised.

You say you are not a Calvinist...but if it Quacks like a Calvinist and if it

Walks like a Calvinist...then...well...?

Have you checked the bumpers of your car?

Are there any

"Calvin is GOD" Bumper Stickers on them?

Baptism -- Regenerative or Symbolic?

John 1:11-13: "To all who received Him {Jesus}, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, *NOR OF HUMAN DECISION* or a husband's will {Such as child baptism}, but BORN OF GOD!"

Grace is God's unmerited favor.

Ephesians 2:8-10: "For it by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is NOT from *YOURSELVES*, it is the *GIFT* of God--not by works {Including baptism}, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.":applause::angel::peace:

The Satanic idea of Baptismal Regeneration is so ridiculous that it is not even worthy of consideration. That some Satanic Priest saves you by sprinkling you with some water??

Anyone who is truly Born of God and receives the FREE GIFT of Faith will of course by very anxious to obey all of the approximately 400 commands in the NT including the command to be baptized.

Luke 3:15,16: John the Baptist said, "I baptize you with water, But one more powerful than I will come, the throngs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire!":applause::angel::peace:

Yes Guys the more I pondered George's example, the more i realized how good of an example it was to illustrate the freedom of man's will.

Thank you George for that example of man's freedom to choose right or wrong.
