The term prosperity has been mentioned lately on the forum and then the fear manifest from every direction, and the fear is satan's twisted faith about any bible topic.
You can hear it in what most people say they are repeating what they heard someone say in unbelief and the begins the downward spiral.
Ant fear of a bible topic starts with a lack of knowledge of Jesus and the love of God. man's redemption bought and paid for was to put man back to the place he was before sin, Yes the father own the earth and all there in but it seems some forgot he gave it to Adam and Eve.
Prosperity is a part of man's inheritance in Christ and it is a part of every aspect of life upon the earth, you can not find the perfect will of God on any topic unless you renew your mind and then believe with your heart, you cannot believe God with your mind.
Prosperity is a part of this word salvation, which is the sum total of man's blessing when he enters the family of God. The father expects his children to walk in the light of his word and excel in every area of life.
I don't say any of this arrogantly but i was not two month's old in the lord and I heard some one teaching on prosperity and I threw a fit of carnality, but the lord simply spoke to me and said I want you to go back and listen to what was said. After listening me and him sat down with the bible and looked up the word prosper and went from there, and in just a few moments these words came out of my mouth wow you want us to proper in every area of your life.
The father's way of prospering is not like this world in any way but it seems although some think it is that way, when you hear christian's say the prosperity movement you know immediately they do not know the will of God concerning prosperity.
I encourage all to sit down with the lord and have a conversation with him about the blessing of prosperity.
He know s all about it and it was his joy to provide it for all.
The church is under the blessing of Abraham as described in the 28 th chapter of deut.
The key is as it is stated in Jn 3:2: 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
In order for your soul to prosper concerning health and wealth it has to be renewed to the word of God.
If you will allow the lord to prosper you he would then be able to use you to bless someone in the near future.

CORRECTIONS: RE-DEAD PJ'S COMMENT with an open MIND and NOT narrow mindedness...
I think I should start saving to buy up a few scholarships for many on this forum to attend Sylvian's Reading School or to Evelyn Wood's Speed Reading School to learn the art of reading with comprehension. Especially for those who like to SKIM over what others post and then jump to conlusion of the matter without really knowing what the person has said, becasue you have not read what has been post.
I think this is why many don't really know what's in God's word, because they like to skim over to the good parts and don't take time to READ with comprehension what God is saying.
Here is fair deal, send me to typing school, and I'll send you guys to reading school... reading is more important than knowing how to type, but I still consider it a fair deal...:laugh:

Matthew 25:31-34: Jesus says, "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in Heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him. and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on the right and the goats on His left. Then the King {Jesus} will say to those on His right, "Come, you who have been blessed by My Father; take your inheritance, the *KINGDOM* prepared for you since the creation of the world!":applause:
2 Peter 7,10,13: �The present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men... But the DAY OF THE LORD {See I Cor 1:7,8} will come like a thief.{To unbelievers-I Thess 5:4,5} The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up... But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, the Home of righteousness.�
Rev 21 1:1-3: Then I saw a NEW HEAVEN and a NEW EARTH, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. {THEN} I saw the NEW JERUSALEM, coming down out of heaven from God...,And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, �Now the dwelling of God is with men, and He will live with them! They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. You will note that the New Jerusalem will come only *AFTER the present heaven and earth have passed away on the DAY OF THE LORD! Read Hebrews 11:10, 14-16 & John 14:1-3.
Hebrews 11:1: "Now *FAITH* is being sure of what we hope for and *CERTAIN OF WHAT WE DO NOT SEE!!"
2 Corinthians 4:18: �So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is *UNSEEN*. For what is seen is temporary, but what is *UNSEEN is eternal.
James 4:3: �When you ask you do not receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures!"
I John 5:14: "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything **ACCORDING TO HIS WILL**, He hears us!"
In the old covenant God's commandments were only preached to Jews but in the New Covenant Jesus commands us to preach to every nation in the world teaching them to obey *EVERYTHING* He commanded and everything would also include all of the approximately 400 NT commandments also taught in Acts to Revelation {See 2 Timothy 3-16 to 4:2.}
Jesus also eliminated the earthly rewards for faithful service and commanded us to sell our possessions and give to the poor and get *TREASURES IN HEAVEN* and **THEN** come follow Him.
Luke 12:33,34: Jesus says, �Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted....For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.�
Matthew 20:20-24: �All these {Commandments} I have kept, the young man said. �What do I still lack?� Jesus answered, �If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. **THEN** come, follow Me.� When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth. Then Jesus says, �It is hard for a rich man to enter the *KINGDOM OF HEAVEN*. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the *KINGDOM OF GOD*.�
This inspired passage shows that the *KINGDOM OF HEAVEN* and the *KINGDOM OF GOD* are one and the same!!
Luke 6:20: Jesus says �Blessed are you who are *POOR*, for *YOURS* is the *KINGDOM OF GOD*.�
Matthew 19:27-30: Peter said to Jesus, �We have left **EVERYTHING** to follow you! What then will there be for us?� Jesus says, �I tell you the Truth, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me {Including Paul}will also sit on 12 thrones...And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or fields for My sake will receive 100 times as much and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first {like Osteen & his followers} will be last, and many who are last {In this life} will be first.� And there will be plenty of room for 100 houses and 100 fields in the New Jerusalem since it will be over 1377 miles long and wide and high.
I John 2:3-5: �We know that we have come to know Him if we *OBEY HIS COMMANDS*. The man who says, �I know him,� but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in Him.�
2 Corinthians 6:4-10: As servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance, in troubles, hardships and distresses, in beatings, imprisonments; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love, in truthful speech and in the power of God; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; dying, and yet we live on; beaten and yet not killed; *POOR*, yet making many rich; *HAVING NOTHING*; and yet possessing everything.�:applause::angel:

I Timothy 2:9,10: �I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.�
The early saints followed these commands of Jesus and the NT Covenant:
Acts 2:44,45: "*ALL* the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need." Acts 4:32: "*ALL* the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.":angel:
Revelation 22:12: Jesus says, "Behold, I am coming soon! My *REWARD* is *WITH ME*, and I will give to everyone according to what he:rolleyes: has done!" {When He comes, not now}
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: "So we make it our goal:rolleyes: to please Him..For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him {Not NOW} for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad!"
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, For the Son of Man is going to come in His **FATHER'S GLORY WITH HIS ANGELS**{See Matt 24:30-31;25:31-40}, and **THEN** {Not with earthly rewards now} He will *REWARD* each person :rolleyes:according to what he has done."
I Peter 1:13: �Therefore, prepare your minds for *ACTION*, and set your hope *FULLY* on the {UNSEEN}grace to be given *YOU* when Jesus Christ is *REVEALED*.:applause::peace:

James that a rather idiotc comment don't you think by Piper, since Paul came from a wealth family... and Jesus had already said Paul had to pay the consequences for his sin of killing the chirstians and for persecuting the church, and suffer many things for His name sakes?..
Paul said himself he counted it all dung the things he left behind for the sake of the gospel... well, he really had not choice did he?
We know that God is interested in what we have or how much we have, but don't you guys try play selfrighteous games because if God took everything or even cut back on what you have right now you would be crying more than what you already are mur,muring and complaining when you don't have enough to make your bills each month.
And don't forget, if you are content with what you have then why are you out helping the homeless and the poor and needy, is not this what God has commanded us to do with what we do have?... yeah, right...
God knows each of you in oyur hearts and what you reall ask of Him, and He also knows you wish and murmur and complain about not having enough... So don't play slef-righteous games with me, I've heard them before until the rubber meets the road in your life, then I would like to hear what you speak...
Y'all need to stop God knows the turht and you know the truth,m and I know the truth of what you speak... y'all ain't out working in shelters helping the poor. so why and what are you even working if you are to be like Paul and as you say God would like for Christians to be and not ask Him for blessings?
Why are any of you working, why not do good works for Jesus' names sake and Paul and the apsotles and give up your jobs and go on the mission field... yeah right! answer this...:rolleyes:

There is plenty good mission works right in your cities, and God ask WHO WILL GO?
Go no one who oppose prosperity should have a problem about giving up what you have and taking to the streets... give what you have to the poor and needy and you go without for the sake of the gospel and the name of Jesus Christ!.

Anyone one who opposes prosperity should NOT have a problem about giving up what you have and taking to the streets... give up what you have to the poor and needy and you go without for the sake of the gospel and the name of Jesus Christ!.
WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO GO!!!??? ..Give up your house or apartment, care, nice clothes, and jobs, and answer God's call TO GO HELP THE POOR!
CAPS and The Dream Center needs you, and so do mission center in your city, homeless shelters across America need you! MY Outreach ministry needs you!
Be as Paul and the other apostels and forsake all that you have and GO!

God has always allowed His people to suffer tribulation and trials because they purify and perfect their faith and will gain countless eternal rewards when Jesus Christ is *REVEALED. There are over 40,000 saints martyred every year and the main culprit is no longer just Islam and the RC Church. Millions of saints were martyred by the Communist atheist countries after 1917 in Russia and after 1948 in China and then in North Korea and Vietnam. Many more millions were killed by Japan 1937-1945 and by the Fascists in Italy and Germany 1922-1945. Romans 8:35-37: �Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?... For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us!� I Peter 1:6-8:���In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is *REVEALED.��
I Peter 2:20b,21: �But if you suffer for doing good and endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow IN HIS STEPS.� I Peter 4:12,13: �Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
