Posted : 26 Oct, 2011 06:23 AM Texas mega-church pastor Joel Osteen says he believes Mormons are Christians. The statement came yesterday in Washington in response to a reporter's questions about politics. Osteen said he likes Texas Governor Rick Perry and prays for his candidacy in the GOP presidential candidate race. But Osteen said he also disagreed with a fellow Texas pastor -- Robert Jeffress -- who recently stated that Perry's political opponent, Mitt Romney, was "not a Christian" because he is a Mormon, and that Mormonism is a "cult." In a video posted by The Washington Times (above), Osteen states that while he did not know whether Mormonism is the "purest form of Christianity," he has heard Romney say that Jesus is the Son of God and is his Savior -- and that is one of the "core issues," the pastor concludes. Posted : 26 Oct, 2011 01:50 PM Brigham Young became President of the Mormon Church for 30 years until his death in 1877. Brigham Young had 55 wives including several teen-age wives. Brigham Young used to say "I don't care how you bring em just Bringem Young!! Polygamy was a very important doctrine in the Book of Mormon which also believes that the better the person the more wives and children he will have in heaven. Mormons believe Jesus is a god and and that all good Mormons are also gods just like Jesus. The following is a quote from Wikipedia: In 1863, Young reported that he said, "Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of God, is death on the spot. This will always be so" {As per the Book of Mormon} After settling in Utah in 1848, Brigham Young announced a priesthood ban which prohibited all men of black African descent from holding the priesthood. In connection, Mormons of African descent could not participate in Mormon temple rites such as the Endowment or sealing. These racial restrictions remained in place until 1978, when the policy was rescinded by President of the Church Spencer W. Kimball. Post Reply

It is the Lord who judges me.*Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait 'till the Lord comes.
