OK so do you think that there are people that are "non elect" but they want salvation and they have asked for forgivness because maybe someone they loved told them Jesus died for them but in your opinion he really didnt die for them??? Do these types of people exist? of no fault of their own they try to get saved and they ask Jesus to forgive and they say the "sinners prayer" but are not really saved because they re not "the elect" Post Reply

Jas 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. Donna we do not think we save ourselfs we know Jesus does the saving, we just submit to him or another way of saying it is we dont reject him, thats all, we do have the power within ourselfs to reject him and ignore the calling, its that simple you seem very smart, but for you not to understand something when it is put that simply leads me to believe you are intentionely twisting what we say so that you can prove your point, if I visit a spa and get a massage did I massage myself? Except Christ as your personal savior it is you choice. He does not force us too. If you try to get around excepting Jesus then your hope it lost. Jesus is the door to Life.
