I have heard people on this site say that there is NO NEW REVELATION today,yet i beg to differ.
There is not any NEW SCRIPTURE,yet Yeshua has promised the Holy Spirit would show us things to come.
John 16:13

The Word of YHWH reveals the mind of YHWH.
We are not able to completely fathom the depth and riches of the Word of YHWH,anymore then we are able to completely understand Who YHWH is,or what He is like.
1Co 13:12 For now we see through a mirror in dimness, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will fully know even as I also was fully known.
I believe those which say that there is no new revelation do not understand the Word of YHWH as revelevd by the Holy SPirit.
IF a person is not having the Word of YHWH revealed to them by the Hoy SPirit,then how are they understanding the Word of YHWH.
Also i believe the 'christians' in America ( ooppsssssss my bad THE HOMELAND ) have been grieving the Holy SPirit with their UNBELIEF,so that the Holy Spirit does not manifest Himself as in days of old.
Get rid of the pastoral Levitical system,along with the entertainment bands,institute Plurality of ELders,along with the Priesthood of believers and the Holy SPirit MIGHT begin manifesting Himself again.
algomaboy, I will have to strongly disagree it is not a matter of what church you are confortable in, on the contrary if your flesh is comfortable then there is no conviction! That is a statemet that implys forming church and God to suit us, thats not how it works we are to be conformed to God not vise versa. And as far as modern music goes, anything that swells up our flesh shrinks the spirit they are contrary one to the other Paul said that! So more flesh = less spirit and more spirit = less flesh its a simple deduction! Modern music is wordly and we as christians are not to be of this world we shouldnt even resemble this world at all. We should be doing our best to be pecular and not look anything like this world so I dont think modern music has any place in the church wait let me rephrase that I know modern music doesnt belong in the church!
PJ what I dont understand is why a while back we were having this conversation almost exactly about God speaking to us in his word only it was James and Donna saying that is herrisy and you and I and angel and Jude were all saying that God does speak to us in his word now I am no rocket scientist but I thik that if God can speak to us 9you and I ) then he can also speak to george and I dont know you guys it really does sem like you are arguing just to argue I am not trying to be mean or fuss thats why I asked for an explanation and angel gave me hers which had nothing to do with God revailing things to us personaly in his word, so that leaves you PJ I remmebr well that you were on the same side of the debate that I was on when it came to god speaking through his word I remember james pointing out the people who close thei eyes and point to scripture for an answer from God which I also disagreed with but I recall you started with one of your finger pointing and unbeliefe name calling sessions towards james for that one saying he lacked faith you said then that God does speak to us through his word so I really dont know what our stand is on it, you will never commit to a belief or one side or the other now if James and George have exact opposit veiws on the subject and you disagree with both of them, then what??? sometimes I wonde if your cheese is still on your cracker or if its slideing off a little bit
Yes PJ thats true we must be a does of chapter 2 in the book of acts to have the Holy Ghost, some still have the infilling and the indwelling mixed up they are not the smae thing when you get saved you have the indwelin and the holy spirit is with you to nudge you in the right direction but when you have the indfilling then you are filled up with the Holy Spirit and then you will feel a distint grief when you commit sin and the outward sign is speaking intounges the evidence is what the word calls it, you are right about that

But PJ George said he was talking about the word speaking to us and that what i thought he was saying was what he was saying George said himself that, so how was I assuming or reading into anything when the one who wrote it said I was right about what he was saying and yall misread or misunderstood.
I stil agree about them bands the wordly sounding ones anyweay somecurches are just a big ole flesh fest aomewhere you can go to make your flesh feel good, like algamboy said goto the church you feel comfortable in, well thats not the way it should be , we shouldnt be going to a church becase we like what they are preching or it makes our flesh fel good but we should be going because we think it lines up with scripture and becasue they teach and preah truth not a pacifier as my pastor would call it
for instance my cousin who is shacked up and the pastor of their chruch said it was ok because he is on disability and she gets a check from her husbands death and if they get maried they will lose that income so they have to shack up???
I guess thats the church they feel ost comfortable in, but being comfortable wont keep them from busting hell wide open

well I dont think george has a hole lot to teach he is smart but not wise however I was just saying I already knew what he wa saying or what I thought he was saying that the hol spirit reaveals things to us personaly.. however the more I think about the title of this thread the more I think that its kinda wrong in one way its right yes the holy spirit ca nreaveal to us personaly something that we dont know therfor its new to us, but its not entirely new someone has already known this at some point in time, the Lord has had to deal with someone else or show them tis same thing.. God never changes he is the same forever so why would there be something that is entirely new? However it is new to us and is something that we didnt already know therefor it is a new revelation

When did Jesus say not to go to Church and enjoy the Praise and Wordhip to Him and listen to the Pastor ,who is brings the Word of God to his believers!
