I remember a man from Lebanon saying one day that terrorist objective is to keep you from living as you are inclined to. Fear is their means, and it is important to note that fear is not always in the form of terror but fear in the sense as it was revealed from the beginning and that is twisted or wicked faith, based on words from the kingdom of Darkness. This terrorism is even under the allusion of being biblical, but outright denying any and all central bible truth's. Ro 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. These given to their division's most commonly justify their stance with what they call their interpretation of the bible the avenue with which they justify their doctrine and deny what is taught in the word of God is truth. Faith will never be any part of man's interpretation. Jesus pattern is and always was to have a willing heart to hear the word of God and then to believe and the summation being a doer of the word, this is how the kingdom of God operates and the only way it does.
