God allows pain & suffering but He is NOT the cause of itPosted : 2 May, 2012 09:59 AM~Exodus 21:13~ "But if he did not lie in wait for him, but God let him fall into his hand, then I will appoint you a place to which he may flee." - - I feel led to post about a very important concept today that I think sometimes can cause confusion and misunderstanding. God is all sovereign and all powerful right? So, when times get hard and we go through trials, it's easy to blame God since He knew it was going to happen to us or to people whom we love. God ALLOWS pain and suffering but He is NOT the cause of the trials that we go through. Everybody has a free will and the evil one is allowed to tempt us but we do NOT have to respond to that temptation in a negative manner. We could choose to look at it as God has allowed this trial in my life so how can I look at it as a blessing instead? Look for mercies in disguise. We are either going through a hard circumstance, about to enter into one, or coming out of one. Just remember that you have a choice and God knows how you are feeling. He knows your suffering and He can SEE your heart even if nobody else can. Cling to Him. Rely on Him. But do NOT blame Him. If He brings you to it then He WILL get you through it. (1Corinthians 10:13--"No temptation has overtaken you except such is common to man but God is faithful who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but with the temptation will also make a way of escape that you may be able to bear it") God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand His wisdom, but we simply have to trust His will. Thank you Lord for being full of mercy, compassion, grace, and unconditional love. I hope this helped somebody today. :glow: |

God allows pain & suffering but He is NOT the cause of itPosted : 4 May, 2012 06:37 AMIt is often Said That God allows Satan to do what he does and that is somewhat true, but it is not that he Allows it, but that man gave his place of ruling the earth to Satan. Now Satan has not rightful Authority over anyone in Christ unless they open the door to him, the proper language is man allowed and allows. |
