Jn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Jn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Jn 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. Jn 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Jn 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. Jn 3:22 � After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized. Humility accepts the word of God as written Pride will Reject the word of God always. Humility accepts the word of God, Humility receives the word of God as written, Humility will not give an opinion of the word of God. Post Reply

The only self Glory is evident in those that oppose The lord Jesus so openly, of course it is disgusting but that is how the flesh and renewed minds like it. I recognize that it may have been this way for years and they may be hardpressed to let go of it, but just because it hasn't been successfully confronted in the past doesn't mean it won't be now. And by "confronted" let me clarify I don't care about debating Calvinism, I mean the monopolizing of this forum. You're absolutely correct when you say this isn't a forum about Calvinism, it's supposed to be a forum about Biblical discussion. It isn't being treated that way at all and likely hasn't been for some time. It's time for that to end. Post Reply

Pride Posted : 11 May, 2012 12:07 AM OK.God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble (James 4:6) pride precedes a fall (Proverbs 16:18) God lifts the humble(1 Peter 5:6) When pride comes, then comes disgrace,but with humility comes wisdom( Proverbs 11:2) As for me, i choose to humility!
