One of the most comforting doctrines for the Christian is the sovereignty of God. What comfort it brings to our heart to know that God is ruling, reigning and directing all things in this universe for His glory and the believer�s good. We read in Daniel 4:34-35: �And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand or say to Him, "What have You done?" Understanding this doctrine enables every believer to be patient when afflicted, thankful in prosperity, and for what is future have good confidence that our sovereign God will supply all of our needs and never let anyone or anything separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. No enemy can befall us, no sickness can over take us, and no disaster can come upon us but what is filtered through the hands of our loving, heavenly Father, who is the Sovereign One of the universe. And it's our God who has said �All things work together for good to those who love God� (Romans 8:28). May your heart rest fully assured in our God as you meditate upon the truth that He ALONE is the sovereign of the universe! by Rev. Scott Henry Post Reply

You need a nap PJ :) No I never once said he was not who he says he is, you say that I deny sovereignty because I will not accept your outlook. You by your words and deeds say he is not sovereign by not accepting his word. If you believe he is sovereign, you would then believe Satan is the God of this world. Btw the way if you knew him intimately you would know he does not ever present that attitude. Post Reply
