Wolf - I've got practical solutions that work better than the principles found in the word of God.
Shepherd - Beat it wolf! Stay away from the sheep. Do not bring your false teaching near my sheep again.
Wolf- What's your problem dude? Leave me alone and let me stalk my prey in peace.
Shepherd - Sorry, I can't do that. My job is to watch over the sheep and to protect them from wolves like yourself.
Wolf- Isn't that God's job? The question for you Mr. Shepherd is this, Why don't you go away and let God protect his sheep? Do you trust the Spirit of God more than your own efforts?
Shepherd - It is written in Acts 20 that I am to watch over all of the flock.
Wolf - Has God said this? Surely, he doesn't mean what he says. Go away and leave me to enjoy my dinner.
Acts 20
27 For I kept not back from declaring to you ALL the counsel of Elohim.
28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Set-apart Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of Elohim which He has purchased with His own blood.
29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves shall come in among you, not sparing the flock.
30 Also from among yourselves men shall arise, speaking distorted [teachings], to draw away the taught ones after themselves.
In this passage we see Paul teaches:
1. There are men who are given the responsibility to declare the entire counsel of Elohim.
2. These men have an obligation to watch over not only themselves but also ALL of the flock. They are to be overseers of the sheep.
3. Wolves will come from the outside who will not spare the sheep.
4. Wolves will rise up from the inside speaking distorted teachings to draw away the taught ones after themselves.
The wolves have been preying while the shepherds neglect their God given duties and obligations to protect the sheep. However, what these wolves do not realize is that through all of their feasting, they have also become fat, lazy, incompetent, and slow. They have been systematically fattening themselves for their own slaughter. They are now very easy to spot, unskilled in hunting, and too slow to escape from the shepherds.
1 Samuel 17:32-36
And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.

10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things. 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, Ephesians 4:10-12
1 So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a partaker in the glory that is going to be revealed: 2 shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; 1 Peter 5:1-2
LTM would do well to pay attention to "not for shameful gain"
4 I CHARGE YOU IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD AND OF CHRIST JESUS, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 PREACH THE WORD; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when PEOPLE WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND TEACHING, BUT having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers TO SUIT THEIR OWN PASSIONS, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth AND WANDER OFF INTO MYTHS. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
Preach THE WORD, LTM...you are on dangerous ground
