Admin	Comfort Them With The Truth Posted : 5 Jan, 2013 08:16 PM The church can not be comforted with false teaching. 1st Thess 4:13 � But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1st Thess 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1st Thess 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1st Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1st Thess 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1st Thess 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. View Profile History	Comfort Them With The Truth Posted : 6 Jan, 2013 01:53 PM I have already answered when the rapture is, now why was Paul having to comfort these believer's because someone had tried to tell them they had already missed the rapture. and because the Jews knew of the day of the lord is second coming, they know THE SECOND COMING IS NOT A A GOOD TIME. Btw the saints that have died in faith are already with the lord, this passage speaks of their body. Post Reply

Now you resort to what other's do, in avoiding the issues. you have yet to acknowledge as a matter of face you fault all that will not agree with your un belief. No man can walk in the light and walk in darkness at the same time. Btw the way one of the characteristics of the flesh is to try and discredit the messenger, in not acknowledging the truth. . It is the oldest trick in the book. The proof it right here in your thread. If you dont want to answer my questions then just tell me and that will be enough for me. I grew up in a contentious home and these days I try to avoid contention. And discussion on faith leads to contention for me at least many times. That is why i usually make statements and try not to defend them. It is difficult to not get sucked in every now and then though, because the contention can be exciting as well, right?
