THE BIBLICAL ORDER OF MEN AND WOMEN IN THE FAMILY AND THE CHURCH

Mans First Job: Genesis 2:15

King James Version (KJV)

15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Womens Role: Genesis 2:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. (Help MeetH5828עזר ‛êzer ay'-zer From H5826; aid: - help..)

Women who rules in err.

Isaiah 3:12

King James Version (KJV)

12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Womens Role in Church

1 Timothy 2:11-14

King James Version (KJV)

11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

1 Timothy 3:15

King James Version (KJV)

15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

1 Corinthians 14:34-37

King James Version (KJV)

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

36 What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

THE ROLE OF THE MAN AND WOMAN IN THE FAMILY.

Ephesians 5:22-33

King James Version (KJV)

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Marriage and Divorcement.

Matthew 19:3-9

King James Version (KJV)

3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

4 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Mark 10:1-12

King James Version (KJV)

10 And he arose from thence, and cometh into the coasts of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort unto him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.

2 And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him.

3 And he answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Matthew 5:31-32

King James Version (KJV)

31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Romans 7:2-3

King James Version (KJV)

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

Luke 16:18

King James Version (KJV)

18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

1 Corinthians 7:9-15

King James Version (KJV)

9 But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Your house should be ran like a Kingdom, The Husband should act as a King who Rules his Kingdom as CHRIST does with HIS KINGDOM. The Husband should be as like THE SERVANT KING who LEADS and yet can Serves as well with all LOVE and FORGIVENESS, The Husband has so much on his plate so he needs his Wife. Even tro he is to Love and Protect and serve his wife his wife must Obey and Submit and Obey him as if he as Christ The Lord as we must Obey Christ and GOD, Wives your job is as Wife you are to Follow your Husbands so pick his wisely as if he Follows GOD and you Follow him you as well Follow GOD. Also Wives your Job is to take care of The House and Children and as a helper of your Husbands, Husbands need their Wives because they can not do it alone so they need you. Children You must Obey your Mom and Dad but Fathers and Mothers Treat your Kids with Love, do not provoke your kids to anger but do all things with Love and Kindness. This is not to say you can not spank your kids but I say talk to them and tell them why so they might understand and no just that you said it was wrong but why it was wrong and make sure you do your Judgement Fairly and Loving as King Solomon Judged Fairly so I say Judge like a King as Run your House as a Kingdom and Husbands act as if you as a King who is to do GOD'S WILL.

"A real man treats his lady like a queen, and a real lady treats her man like a king." That's my philosophy. But seriously, why do you think God created the first woman, Eve, out of Adam's rib? Don't you think it was done this way to show that the two are equal? Men are not supposed to walk over women, and women are not supposed to rule over men. They are created equal! I mean if God had taken one of Adam's toes to form Eve, I'd understand that God meant women to be inferior. But that was not what He did!
