Posted : 24 Aug, 2011 10:39 PM There are some who say Christians sin because we are human, and many will try to justify their sins as mistakes, or use excuses for sinning saying that God knows my/our hearts. Some even say once a person has repented when he/she became born again there is no need to repent anymore of your sins... But God has already siad that our hearts are wicked and evil, and whatsoever defiles a person comes from the heart of the person, UNLESS the person is walking in the power of the Holy Spirit. Sin is sin to God, no matter who you are, or how long you have been a Christian. A true Chirtsian born again from above will not willfully commit sin, and then expect God to forgive him/her, or think there is no need for repentance. Hear what God has to say about the person who sins BEFORE being born again, and the person who sins AFTER he/she has been born again. Ezekiel Chapter 18: 4� Behold, all souls are Mine; The soul of the father As well as the soul of the son is Mine; The soul who sins shall die. But if a man is just And does what is lawful and right; If he has not eaten on the mountains, Nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, Nor defiled his neighbor�s wife, Nor approached a woman during her impurity. 7 If he has not oppressed anyone, But has restored to the debtor his pledge; Has robbed no one by violence, But has given his bread to the hungry And covered the naked with clothing. If he has not exacted usury Nor taken any increase, But has withdrawn his hand from iniquity And executed true judgment between man and man; If he has walked in My statutes And kept My judgments faithfully... He is just; He shall surely live!� Says the Lord GOD. Turn and Live 21 �But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die. None of the transgressions which he has committed shall be remembered against him; because of the righteousness which he has done, he shall live. Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?� says the Lord GOD, �and not that he should turn from his ways and live? 24 �But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All the righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; because of the unfaithfulness of which he is guilty and the sin which he has committed, because of them he shall die. 25 �Yet you say, �The way of the Lord is not fair.� Hear now, O house of Israel, is it not My way which is fair, and your ways which are not fair? 26 When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it is because of the iniquity which he has done that he dies. 27 Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. 28 Because he considers and turns away from all the transgressions which he committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 29 Yet the house of Israel says, �The way of the Lord is not fair.� O house of Israel, is it not My ways which are fair, and your ways which are not fair? 30 �Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways,� says the Lord GOD. �Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin. 31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel? 32 For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,� says the Lord GOD. �Therefore turn and live!� The wages/price/penalty/cost of SIN IN DEATH!... If...as you say...a Christian can be "not fully converted" and that is why they "Back Slip". I ask Once Again... ..."How can a Christian KNOW that they are not one of those "Not Fully Converted" Christians? To say that you will know "...Once you BACK SLIDE" is slliy and nonsensical! It's like saying you will Know you are Dead when you DIE! The point I want to make is that there is no such thing as "Not Fully Converted". Either you are "Converted" or you are NOT! If as you say "all you need to be Saved is to ask Jesus into your Heart and BELIEVE" then Stand behind what yoiu say. Saying that Christians can be "Not Fully Converted" is Nonsensical and contary to what Christians Believe in Faith. If what you say is True...then No Christian can be Postive that They Are Saved...because they might just be Deluding themselves and in Reality be "Not Fully Converted" :toomuch::ROFL: (sorry...couldn't resist) Post Reply

Even so in the OP of Ezkeiel if you had read it you would find your answer, anytime a person who profess and confess he/she is a Christian and is still living in sin, this person has not been truly converted, how many time must I says these things and how many times must God say them in His word... But when you're not READING or reading to find only what yu would like to find for debate, then you will miss the clear point that a true Christian born again from above will not willfully commit sin.
