The term prosperity has been mentioned lately on the forum and then the fear manifest from every direction, and the fear is satan's twisted faith about any bible topic.
You can hear it in what most people say they are repeating what they heard someone say in unbelief and the begins the downward spiral.
Ant fear of a bible topic starts with a lack of knowledge of Jesus and the love of God. man's redemption bought and paid for was to put man back to the place he was before sin, Yes the father own the earth and all there in but it seems some forgot he gave it to Adam and Eve.
Prosperity is a part of man's inheritance in Christ and it is a part of every aspect of life upon the earth, you can not find the perfect will of God on any topic unless you renew your mind and then believe with your heart, you cannot believe God with your mind.
Prosperity is a part of this word salvation, which is the sum total of man's blessing when he enters the family of God. The father expects his children to walk in the light of his word and excel in every area of life.
I don't say any of this arrogantly but i was not two month's old in the lord and I heard some one teaching on prosperity and I threw a fit of carnality, but the lord simply spoke to me and said I want you to go back and listen to what was said. After listening me and him sat down with the bible and looked up the word prosper and went from there, and in just a few moments these words came out of my mouth wow you want us to proper in every area of your life.
The father's way of prospering is not like this world in any way but it seems although some think it is that way, when you hear christian's say the prosperity movement you know immediately they do not know the will of God concerning prosperity.
I encourage all to sit down with the lord and have a conversation with him about the blessing of prosperity.
He know s all about it and it was his joy to provide it for all.
The church is under the blessing of Abraham as described in the 28 th chapter of deut.
The key is as it is stated in Jn 3:2: 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
In order for your soul to prosper concerning health and wealth it has to be renewed to the word of God.
If you will allow the lord to prosper you he would then be able to use you to bless someone in the near future.

Actually George you may have approached the word of God mentally, for the the lord Jesus Gave his authority to the body of Christ.
One must renew their mind to the mind of Christ to think inline with the word of God and also be reminded one believes with the heart you can not believe with the mind.
George maybe you missed it but the post was on prosperity.

The questions still remains unanswered by all those who oppose God's blessings and being prosperous and successful in what you do.
the questions: WHO WILL GO??...
WHY ARE YOU WORKING?
WHY DO YOU LIVE WHERE YOU LIVE IN YOUR APARTMENTS OR HOUSES?
WHY DO YOU DRIVE THE CAR YOU DRIVE? Why do you wear the clothes you wear? Its all vanity so why worry with it?
WHY NOT GIVE UP EVERYTHING YOU OWN AND GO WORK IN THE FIELDS FOR THE SAKE OF THE GOSPEL?... not worrying about anything, except your eternal blessings when you forsake everything for the sake of the gospel and Jesus promises your reward in your eternal life. Tell God you don't care to have the one-hundredfold blessings on earth, you would rather wait until you get to heaven.
GIve up everything for His name sake, you say that God does not want us to be prosperous or to prosper, and we should not seek prosperity which are His blessings to us here on earth. So sell all that you have, give it away to the poor, give up your houses and apartments and be as Jesus and the apostles and GO in your community with the gospel, because you should have faith enough to believe that God will supply your every needs for the sake of the gospel.
What are you working toward on your job? It should not be as important as preaching the gospel to the poor as God commands us to do...
Be like Jesus and the aposlte and the people in the book of Acts that Richard posted how they sold their posessions and gave to the apostles and the poor... Jesus and the apostles walked everywhere they went, so get rid of your cars and WALK.
Jesus and the apostles did not have a pillow or a house to sleep in or a pillar to lay their heads on, they slept wherever they could find a place or people housed them. So get rid your apartments and houses!...
OH, TO BE LIKE JESUS AND THE APOSTLES FOR THE SAKES OF THE GOSPEL AND RECEIVE GOD'S ETERNAL RICHES IN GLORY!
There is plenty good mission works right in your cities, and God ask WHO WILL GO?
Anyone who opposes prosperity should NOT have a problem about giving up what you have and taking to the streets... Give it ALL up!!!...
QUESTION: WHO WILL BE THE FIRST TO GIVE IT ALL UP AND GO???!!! you say you don't care to be blessed or prosper by God on earth, and it means nothing to you, and that the gospel of Jesus is what we as Christians should be focused on which is very true, so where is YOUR LOVE for the gospel of Jesus Christ? Prove to God your hate for prosperity and need to suceed or have better things than what you have. Be as Paul, he said all that he gave up he counted it as dung for the sake of the gospel. And Paul came from a very wealthy family was highly educated.
ANSWER God's call TO GO HELP THE POOR!
CAPS and The Dream Center needs you, and so do mission center in your city, homeless shelters across America need you! MY Outreach ministry needs you!
Be as Paul and the other apostels and forsake all that you have and GO!
Remeber, you don't need these things and you're not working for to be prosperous, so why are you working on a job everyday? GIVE IT UP AND GO!!
... and God knows the truth of what you speak and your hearts! Maybe this is why He is not blessings you because you denounce His blessings... so stop asking Him to hekp you on your jobs or for a raise... that's being prosperous!

BTW, Richard as I stated Jesus and the apostles WLAKED EVERY THEY WENT preaaching and teaching the gospel, so why are you riding around?
Sell your care and start wlaking carrying the gospel handling our tracks with God's word, touching people in the physical instead of driving aorund town never hands on with the gospel.
For the sake of the gospel get rid of your so-called Jesus car and prove to God that you mean business. Jesus and the apsotles had hands on experience with people, they never rode around on donkeys preaching the gospel!:ROFL:
