Matthew 9:11-13 The Pharisees said to Jesus disciples "Why is your Teacher eating with the tax gatherers and sinners?". But Jesus heared and said " it is not those who are healthy who need a physician but those who are sick ..........for I did not come to call the righteous but sinners"
There is a common misconception that believers must be perfect. Pretending to have our lives in order many of us wear faces and speak words that make us acceptable.
salvation through Jesus doesn't change the fact that sin will always be part of us, when we are born again God sees us as righteous but we sometimes choose to sin and that is why we have repentance, to confess our sins and turned away from them, so renew our relationship with God.
We can never be perfect, only God is perfect, in fact seeking for perfection can pull us away from living a Godly life.
The world sees wealthy individuals as self sufficient, but Christ don't care about wordly possesions, intead he wants us to be aware of weakness, because brokeness is the foundation of Godliness.
Apostle Paul said, when I am weak then I am strong. That means when we totally surrender and humble ourselves, God empowers us. We should accept our needness and seek God passionately.Doind this we developes these characters, a hunger for God's word, faithful service, deepning trust and decision making based on God's principles instead of preverebce,Patiently and mercifully Godmatures us.
We must becareful not to cover our sins in order to look like a good Christian but confess them. Without recognision and confession we will never be able to fully rely on God. It is only with the awareness that we can passionately seek Him, obey in His strength and confess with repentance, when we make mistake
Let me get this straight, you believe that when you sin,and you do sin.Yep so do i.
You believe that your RELATIONSHIP with ABBA has be broken,i will say removed, seeing that YOU need to renew your relationship with YHWH again and again.
How are you becoming your daddys son again, once you have sinned?
Just a simple example, if you offend your father and you fail to acknowledged your mistake and ask for forgiveness your relationship is strained with your dad, but when you realized what you have done wrong and you go to your dad and apologized he will forgive you and you are in his good book again.
When we are in sin, God is seperated from us, when we confess and repent, and turn away fro our sins, He forgives us and we renew our communion with him. I hope I have answered your question. If there is anything else please feel free to ask. Godbless.
Have you made the following decision about Sin; that it must be completely killed in you? It takes a long time to come to the point of making this Complete and Effective decision about Sin. It is, however, the greatest moment in your life once you decide that Sin must Die in you; not simply be Restrained, Suppressed, or Counteracted, but CRUCIFIED just as Jesus Christ Died for the Sin of the world.
Knowing this, that our Old man was Crucified with Him (Jesus), that the body of Sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of Sin.
Romans 6:6
Complete and effective Decision about Sin.
You choose to stay in Sin; or you choose to Live for Jesus in Holiness.
Matthew 6. And Jesus taught His disciples(all believers) in the Disciples/Lord's Prayer how to pray saying, "And forgive us our debts (sins), as we also have forgiven our debtors (those who have sinned against us)." 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one
Luke 15:1 Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. 2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.
3 Then Jesus told them this parable: Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesnt he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep. I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.
8 Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins[a] and loses one. Doesnt she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin. In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
11 Jesus continued: There was a man who had two sons. 12 The younger one said to his father, Father, give me my share of the estate. So he divided his property between them. Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
17 When he came to his senses, he said, How many of my fathers hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants. So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.
21 The son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son. But the father said to his servants, Quick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Lets have a feast and celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. So they began to celebrate.
25 Meanwhile, the older son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on. Your brother has come, he replied, and your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.
28 The older brother became angry and refused to go in. So his father went out and pleaded with him. But he answered his father, Look! All these years Ive been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!
31 My son, the father said, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours. 32 But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.

Farmer
angel do you SIN,by the way you reply to myself and others here i would say ABSOLUTELY!!!!!
So where is your holy replies to others which post and tell the truth of the WOrd of YHWH.
We are to repent of our sins daily, and turn from those things that separarate us from being in fellowship with God. Evil thoughts, deeds, and words whatever that is not Christ-like in our lives is SIN. This is why Jesus tells us to prayer: Forgive us of our sins, as we forgive others who have sinned against us.
I still don't understand George, why you have such a problem with asking God to forgive you of your sins, surely, you don't think you are righteous, and have no need to repent of your sins daily, or think that you have no sins just because you claim to love Jesus so much.
If you love Jesus as you say you do, then you should have no problems obeying what He commands us to do, REPENT OF YOUR SINS! Otherwise, how can you have a relationship with Christ, and be in close fellowship with Him?
And if repentance isn't necessarey why and for what reasons does God chastise us if we do wrong? Hebrews chapter 12...
George, do you see your name listed in ANY of the sins?
Galatians 5:19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, "ALL LIARS", and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
I John 1:5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make God out to be a liar and his word is not in us.
