If you were all firebrands for Christ, you might set the nation on a blaze. If you were all wells of living water, how many thirsty souls might drink and be refreshed! Beloved, there is one question I will ask, and I have done, and that is, Are your own souls won? You cannot win others else. Are you yourselves saved? My hearers, every one of you, under that gallery there, and you behind here, are you yourselves saved? What if this night you should have to answer that question to another and greater than I am? What if the bony finger of the last great orator should be uplifted instead of mine? What if his unconquerable eloquence should turn those bones to stone, and glaze those eyes, and make the blood chill in your veins? Could you hope, in your last extremity, that you were saved? If not saved, how will you ever be? When will you be saved if not now? Will any time be better than now? Post Reply

We can agree to disagree because we are learning from each other, we can correct each other IN THE LOVE OF CHRIST because our own love is emotional Christianity is not about emotions but faith. If we can all pray more, love more, be patient more, endure more, serve more, the Spirit of God is the teacher not you or me and He will open up our understanding and reveal the truth to us regardless of who it is coming from.God has no denomination but ONE BODY God cannot use people that are full of themseves but those that are filled with the Holy Spirit, he will plant all His gift in us and as those gift of the Spirit grows, our faith in the Word grows.We will be able to see from a spiritual eye not from the world's eyes or intelligence but wisdom The word of God stand on HIS OWN, we don't have to argue or defend the truth, it causes confusion, all we need to do is pray for each other and carry each others burden, that is the Love of Christ, God is love and His love conquers all. The warning is to be aware of FALSE PROPHETS,those professing FALSE teachings,false prophesies,and false doctrines of men. To be tossed about by every word and doctrine about what i believe and to just say 'GOOD WORD' to false words is not Biblical.. People get angry when a person prociams the truth,which goes aganist there false understanding of the word. Posted : 11 Feb, 2012 06:05 AM George amen I cant say I agree with you about everything but that lkast coment is dead on, people get syntamynatal about what they believe and if you speak out against it its wrong, scott I do not come this forum to win souls my life is a witness to Jesus and when I sign on the cdff it is my asumption that everyoe in herer is already saved at least on the forums and I know everyone has such a huige problem with what i have said recently however I would like to say inmy defence that I am not going to conform to any pesons beliefes I have gotten my beliefe system directly from the word of God andnot men that is why you will sometimes see that I disagree with just about everyone on here at sometime or abother. But there is noting wrong with proclaiming the truth. If there is a false teacher or doctrine it is our responsibility to speak out against it im love and pray that the others will humble themselfs and see the truth instead of being proud and falling as pride cometh before a fall! And if you are too proud to listen to what a brother or sister is trying to tell you and you just kep bashin them and arguing with them then it would seem obvious to me that you (not you personaly) are working out of pride. There is no reason that we should be arguin. Of corse I am the one that has been acused of it and I dont care because i know different I posted some articlesd I think are imformative and truthful and becasue oif it I have been called everything from covotus to por jelouse causing strife andunbelieving. But the popint is on the forums we are under the asumption people are saved and have alrread decided what they believe so soul winning is a mute point their souls aere already won this site to me is just recreation and discusiion I like to debate and thats all Post Reply

A person's soul is in grave danger when the knowledge of doctrine surpasses Jesus, avoiding intimeate touch with Him. Do You have a personal history with Jesus Christ? The One true sign of discipleship is intimate Oneness with Him. A knowlege of Jesus that nothing can shake. Our character should reflect his character! God does not like UGLY. Now i remember,I should not proclaim the Gospel,instead i should be living in such a way as to ATTRACT others to Messiah. So then mans,a persons SALVATION is based upon how i live,and not the Gospel. That is pride to the infinite. I will proclaim the Gospel and TRUST the Holy SPirit to convict the hearers and He will bring them to Yeshua.
