I believe the following English translation of the Greek Scriptures has been translated wrongly, misleading people to believe that Yeshua in His humanity did not know the time of His return.
Please study this out before replying.
Mark 13:32
(KJV) But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
(KJV+) ButG1161 ofG4012 thatG1565 dayG2250 andG2532 that hourG5610 knowethG1492 no man,G3762 no, notG3761 theG3588 angelsG32 whichG3588 are inG1722 heaven,G3772 neitherG3761 theG3588 Son,G5207 butG1508 theG3588 Father.G3962
(LITV) But concerning that day and the hour, no one knows, not the angels, those in Heaven, nor the Son, except the Father.
(YLT) `And concerning that day and the hour no one hath known--not even the messengers who are in the heaven, not even the Son--except the Father.

My brother, George.
I see and completely understand your wanting to seek our Lord!
It is what He wants us to do. And the further you do so, the more he blesses you. That is the ultimate goal. See, we are obliged to give Him praise collectively, but He seeks us, and wants us all to know Him and commune with Him individually. That is what you are doing. It is what and how He has gifted you to be. The very idea behind your question in this topic was to learn and see where the Lord takes you with this. That is the leap of Faith that he honors, bro. If you did NOT question and want to know Him or take the time to seek Him as you did, then your disobedience would be evident, brother.
Don't EVER think that you questioning God or His Word is something that is not to happen regardless of what narrow minded people here say.
Abraham questioned Him. Moses did so. Name ANY Prophet and you will see that they all questioned Him and what He wanted to convey to them and others who asked. That is the key. TO ASK. TO SEEK. TO COMMUNE WITH CHRIST by speaking to Him as we, as sons, aught to - with confidence and boldness.
As for the Greek, it says what it says and how it says it. Now, since you know it is your choice to seek him further and continue to see what the passages you are studying about meant within its context.
Again, look at the context, brother. What are you trying to see? is it the passage of Scripture to denote the end times or is it the passage of a time when He is answering men the questions He asked?
When the disciples asked Him the questions they weren't trying to discuss or exegete His deity? No. They were merely asking the two questions of when the temple would be destroyed and when the world would end. He told them. He told them in a way that men would understand. As a man, who would be coming back at a moment unknown to men he didn't know when he would be sent.
Does that make sense, my brother?
by the way, bro. I am glad to see your back. I hope to see you more often in this forum. We all need to learn how to make the different parts work together as a body, bro. Remember, we aren't part of him if we are separate from one another, so we need you here just as much as you and I need PJ to do what he does so well. We are all apart of the FAMILY of God, brother. That is the stuff that binds us together in Christ.

:waving: Good Morning YallI love Gents and Gals...Everyone had much to share and much Good Manna to receive this morning....
Brother Sal shared ~ See, in effect, Jesus, who Is God, is also saying that "physical manifestation" of God, does not know. In essence, since Jesus is God and is co-equal with God in all things, knows when it will happen in a spiritual sense because the Father constantly communes with his eternally BUT the physical "prepared flesh part" of the manifestation doesn't know when He will come on the Last Day. Does that make sense?
*** Absolutly makes sense and ima in Agreement whole Heartedly...There is NO contratictions in Scripture...only contridictions in Understanding that which is Physical and that which is Spiritual...All Praise and Glory to the Most High...and may yall hava a Blessed day...xo
