Bob got out of Bed at 7 am this morning.

It does not say Bob chose to get of bed at 7a.m. but it is known by most it was a choice.

Sharon hit the snooze button two times this morning.

It does not say Sharon chose to hit the snooze, but it is known to most she made a choice to hit the snooze button.

The father knows it is so:

The Son knows it is so:

The Holy Spirit knows it is so:

All three know that the same way man choose to stop for a stop sign the same man choose to accept Jesus or reject him.

Satan knows very well how productive it is to twist this simple truth.

"PJ, unfortunately as you have stated on other threads, it doesn't matter how straight forward the truth is presented...or how obvious the words are in the verse, there will be people here that present a higher, deeper knowledge of the basic language of the Bible. Words we learned and used throughout our lives take on entirely different meanings."

9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Bob if you agreed with that parable you would and walked in the light of it you would not respond as you did and as you have and you would never support reformation theology.

This teaching responded to in the manner Jesus told man to approach his word would never accept reformation theology.

Btw the scripture that you posted is because they choose to reject the word of God.

"Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees"

Leaven -a substance, as yeast or baking powder, that causes fermentation and expansion of dough or batter

If the literal sense makes sense, any other sense is nonsense

What were these Pharisees? Bakers?

Praise the Lord for his admonition to stay away from Jewish bakeries. My life has changed dramatically as a result. Glory to God.

Many believe that we are totally free to choose salvation. The bible says mans will is not free but in bondage to sin.God says that we are doomed unless he has mercy and changes our hearts. free will undermines the Gospel and conceal Gods glory in salvation

I see that you are dead having died from the bite of a venomous snake. However. I am going to put this anti-venom next to your cold dead hand. All you have to do is believe that this needle is indeed filled with anti-venom and then reach out and accept it.

What's that? You can't see the anti-venom because you are blind.

oh wait a minute... you can't even hear me because you are deaf!

I see that you can not use that cold dead hand to pick up that anti-venom. At least you can't say that I did not offer it to you, right?

Hey.. you can always use your "free will" and CHOOSE to regenerate yourself long enough to get that anti-venom into your arm. So, anyway you slice it, I guess my part is done here.

Romans 8:

20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered

we don't even know how to pray let alone act at any given time.I'm so glad the work is HIS and not mine, because all I can do is scweew it all up!

Bob and for all that rejoice in their pride you left this and maybe it because of your hardness of heart.

You seem to do well in fervent lying and exalting of self.1 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Me: "PJ, unfortunately as you have stated on other threads, it doesn't matter how straight forward the truth is presented...or how obvious the words are in the verse, there will be people here that present a higher, deeper knowledge of the basic language of the Bible. I left out 2 important words..."there will be people here that THINK THEY present"

Me: "God's plan of salvation that He laid out from the beginning is not complicated. It's easy enough for a child to understand and accept."
