I would like strong biblical views on if suicide can be forgiven or if it is a one way ticket to hell.

Also, I have never heard of someone killing themselves and being able to come back. I have heard that those who attempt suicide, and fail, are usually happy they failed.

It is really sad to try and give people who are suicidal, or those who have friends or family members who have killed themselves, the false hope that somehow they repented an instant before death. You can not drive away darkness by casting shadows. You must drive away darkness with the light of truth.

Yet, that is exactly what you have done here:

"f Judas had broken his neck, but death was not immediate, he could have asked for forgivess, and been saved, even though death would have followed"

No, I have in no way contradicted myself. If you die unrepentant, you are condemned. Do you know anything at all about firearms? The muzzle velocity of a .44 mag with a 4" barrel is more than 1100 ft per second. How much time do you think someone would have to repent? The shock from it would turn your head into something resembling a crushed, mutilated, bloody paper bag.

Yeah, how many people hang themselves these days? And even among those who do, how many die slowly? Very very few.

Most use a gun or pills so it is either fast or painless. Of those who do die slowly, at any time they can call for help. They certainly arent repenting their actions.

The long and short of it is, of those who kill themselves, virtually none are repentant. They are condemned to hell.

My admonition to you is that you go back and reread this entire thread. There are glaring holes in your reasoning throughout. I have highlighted some for you. The more we continue this dialogue, the more you embarrass yourself by your inability to reason consistently and Biblically.

My intent was not to humiliate you here but rather to expose your theological weaknesses so that you might be strengthened. May it please the Lord to give you understanding.

Shalom.

My theology comes from God. So, by all means condemn and be condemned.

Where does it say that suicides go to Heaven? It doesnt. It does say that murder is a sin. Also, who exactly do you think you are to attack my theology? You judge my beliefs, yet can not defend your own. You can only quote scripture that you try and make fit your idealogy.

Here is a bit of scripture for you:

Matthew 23:26-28

26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

I received the following attack in an email in response to this thread.

This is the act of a coward and a persecutor. Praise God, I count this a joy.

"The truth is not in you. You try to appear righteous, but are full of dead men's bones. In your posts you try to obfuscate. Satan is the father of confusion."

Matt 5

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
