Can you please show me WHICH LAWS Christians ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP NOW?

Thanks for your responses in advance. :peace:

I have laid out many verses showing that the ten commandments were THE OLD COVENANT. I have laid out verses saying that the OLD COVENANT WAS ABOLISHED. I will lay out that Jesus FULFILLED ALL OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS IN HIS EARTHLY MINISTRY.

I WILL ALSO LAY OUT THAT JESUS GAVE US A NEW COVENANT (Mat. 26;28, Mark 14:24 ; Luke 22:20 )AND A NEW COMMANDMENT (Jn. 13:34) WHICH WAS OF LOVE AND THEREBY THE ONLY LAW IN THE NEW TESTAMENT THAT WE BELIEVERS ARE TO KEEP. That is called the LAW OF CHRIST (Gal. 6:2) AND ABOLISHING THE OLD ONE (Heb. 8:13).

I've yet to see anyone refuting this to show otherwise.

And with that, I rest my case.

Thank you all for participating and reading this.

May all who are indwelled be dwelling on Him and His love towards us and it be reflected in us in the same way that we love others. :peace:

agapeton, you say that you speak the greek language?? but you dont aparently know that the word that is translated new in reference to new covenant doesnt mean different but refreshed or renewed!! it is the same covenant refreshed, in fact if anything Jesus added to the laws by saying we are to not only kep them in our flesh but keep the laws in our hearts!

Furthermore, you say that if we jeep one part of the law then we are bound to all of it?? right? isnt that what you are saying?

So your saying if I dont commit adultry, then I am bound to all the other laws , are you saying I must commit adultry, murder and idolotry? I mean really? seems like your saying that, cause if you go by your interpretaion of the scripture we are to do whats opposit of the comandments, you got it all wrong bro!

we are not saved by the law, if we break the law we can get forgivness but this is not for us to take occasion to sin!

also you say ther is only one comandment thats LOVE right?

But Jesus said keep my commandmentS SSS thast pluarl!

So are yyou saying agapeton, that its ok for a christian to commit murder and adultry, and lie and covet and have other gods? are you insane? really I dont think thats what the scriptures are saying at all we are to be different if we are commiting hthose sins or living like everyone else who isnt saved we aree not different, this thread is obserd

The same word NEW (KAINOS) in Mat 26:28 is also used in Matthew 9:17, sister. It means NEW. Try doing a complete word search for something before misapplying definitions to something, sister.
