Are there any REFORMED CESSATIONIST PRETERISTS Christians here?

It's one thing to notice how your pool of potential mates is limited to Christians.

Then it's chopped off by a third when you become a cessationist.

It's another thing when you become Reformed because it shrinks dramatically.

It's even more drastically reduced when you become a Preterist.

So are there any Reformed folk here?

Cessationists?

Preterists?

All 3?

" If Calvinism is biblical, pls explain why God states He wants all men to be saved"

If you can show where it states that God wants all men to be saved without exception and do so without ripping verses out of their context then we can have this discussion.

If one is asking to show "Without Exceptions"...then to be realistic about it...Surely there must be also present "Exceptions" which are "Conditional"...within the "UnConditional"...Luv Ya...xo

This is really so basic folks and I mean so basic.

God: "I will that all men be saved. That is what I want. "

FACT: Not all men are saved.

Therefore, God fails to achieve what he wants. He can NOT accomplish his own will.

Anyone who worships this god, please say so now.

Why do you add "without exception"?? Wheres that in the biblical text? God clearly desires that all should be saved-for God so loved the WORLD-not SOME of the world.

It is the Calvinist who's twisting and adding to scripture, not the other way around.

LIMITED ATONEMENT?

1John 2:2-He (Christ) is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.

Dear Calvinist-pls explain how you believe Jesus only covered the sins of the elect, when the above verse says the complete opposite?

YeshuaReigns -

Why don't you google that? Questions like that have been asked and answered for hundreds of years now.

When you find the answer.. you will reject it anyway because it doesn't suit you. Yours is an impotent god and a worthless gospel... a god with no power to save.

Rather than wasting "the whole world's time", why don't you go work out your own salvation with fear and trembling?

"Why do you add "without exception"??"

I added it because this is exactly the point you are making. God desires all men to be saved. PERIOD. That is your point. That is why I add the "without exception"

" God clearly desires that all should be saved-for God so loved the WORLD-not SOME of the world."

Please show me in the context that world means all people...

" 1John 2:2-He (Christ) is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world."

As Bob has said, this has been answered over and over again, but here is a couple verses for comparison for you.

51 He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. John 11:52

Scripture interprets scripture.

Again...I said we can discuss this if you can make your points without ripping verses out of their context.

Hmmm...i have googled it actually, and read Calvin etc. And I dont reject it because it doesnt suit me as you claim, I reject it because it contradicts scripture (of which I note you havent quoted in your post). I believe in and worship the God of the bible who gives mankind freewill-yours is a god that forces his will and is the originator and cause of sin.

You dodged my earlier point in this thread. I reasoned that out at 9 years old and took it to my baptist pastor.

He reasoned poorly just like you that man's will supersedes God's will.

Is it even necessary for me to quote the scripture to prove such an elementary point?

Shouldn't anyone who calls themselves a "Christian" already understand such a foundational issue?
