Bob got out of Bed at 7 am this morning.

It does not say Bob chose to get of bed at 7a.m. but it is known by most it was a choice.

Sharon hit the snooze button two times this morning.

It does not say Sharon chose to hit the snooze, but it is known to most she made a choice to hit the snooze button.

The father knows it is so:

The Son knows it is so:

The Holy Spirit knows it is so:

All three know that the same way man choose to stop for a stop sign the same man choose to accept Jesus or reject him.

Satan knows very well how productive it is to twist this simple truth.

Bob wrote: "I see that you are dead having died from the bite of a venomous snake. However. I am going to put this anti-venom next to your cold dead hand. All you have to do is believe that this needle is indeed filled with anti-venom and then reach out and accept it."

Bob, I see you continue to make a mockery of God's Word.

Numbers 21:8And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

Jesus said:

John 3:14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

As the Israelites had to take action to be saved...look to the serpent, sinners must look to the cross...believe that Jesus's death will save them from eternal death.

When you mock God's Word, you are not mocking me, or any other person who posts it, as you may think you are...you are mocking God

Christians don't believe in a works salvation. We believe that the law proved we are totally incapable of saving ourselves.

Romans 8:

20For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered

Amen Mike, and again scripture is ignored by those who chose their god.

Now Ryan, Donna has turned on you!!

Faith is not works.

The greatest example, of works is all words and actions of unbelief.

Believing God is faith it is not works.

Actually, Teach my analogy has nothing to do with that passage whatsoever. NOTHING - but thanks for the misdirection. If gives us all a chance to look at this passage through the eyes of understanding.

The Israelites who looked upon the fiery serpent were not achieving their own salvation through works. That is a false gospel as I shown to you many times.

What was happening was God through his grace was providing a remedy for their deadly condition. To those whom God gave the grace to look upon that fiery serpent, those whom God gave the the faith to believe his Word to them about it, He would give life. This was only an evidencing of their eternal condition. The vessels of mercy would look to the fiery serpent and vessels of wrath would not.

Each and every part of it was an act of God's predestination to those chosen to receive his mercy. Their looking did not obtain for them their salvation.

Teach- When you mock God's eternal purposes, you are not mocking me, or any other person who posts it, as you may think you are...you are mocking God.

You have eloquently proved my point that you read what is not written into the Word of God.

The Bible does not say that God chose who would look and would not look. The Bible says that God knows our choices, but did not make them for us.

We are not preprogrammed robots.

Interesting...I remember a lot of times in scripture of God opening man's eyes. I don't ever remember man opening his own eyes. You would have us believe man saves himself and God is just an onlooker to the process.

"The Bible does not say that God chose who would look and would not look. "

Actually it does, I and others have already shown this.

"The Bible says that God knows our choices, but did not make them

for us."
