Satan can quote scripture. Satan can appear as a bright and shining angel. That doesnt make him a servant of God. I knew the first time I saw Osteen that he was not preaching the Word of God as it was intended. He, and others like him, are twisting the Word to serve their own purposes, be it money, or fame, or power over others. They are hucksters selling a product. They use "catchphrases" and promises of riches. Jesus said that anyone who came to the Father, except through Him, was like a thief in the night. Osteen may as well be selling the Ronco Salvation Rotisserie Oven: "Just set it and forget it, then watch the riches flow to you...if you send me $19.95 God will send you lots of money." It is an abomination. If this post is correct then it is necessary to post all your sin on this forum. Your response indicates you are repeating the gross error of other's. I have done this and when I sin, I confess it, repent, and ask for forgiveness. So, I have already posted my sins. If you would like, I could post the sins I have committed, but that would be redundant in the eyes of God. It would also take up several pages. The main point is that I do not rely on the teachings of men, who are fallible. I rely on the Word of God. I go to church to worship my God, not to ask for money, or fame, or power. I also go to fellowship with my fellow Christians. God in not an ATM, as ministers like Osteen would have you believe. Post Reply
