He does not support all the divisions started by man under the God of this world's influence. It is vital for all to acknowledge the Spirit of Truth in all subject's and obey the word of God that men will not be deceived. Jn 16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Jn 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Jn 16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Jn 16:15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. The reason they could not understand some things yet is because THE Holy Spirit was not yet given until they where born again. Post Reply

If PJ thinks that makes the whole context about prayer then he needs to show why. The 2nd one does seem to be a pretty complicated sentence so I think it needs to be restated as follows. 2.) �PJ show us how the whole context of John 15 is prayer? Post Reply

View Profile History	Is it The Spirit or Theology Posted : 12 Jan, 2013 09:48 AM So this vine that Jesus teachs us about that we need to be tied into in order for us to bear fruit what does this mean? 1) we are incapable to bear fuit alone. A branch that is seperated from the vine will die, right? Will not bear fruit, right? 2) A branch also bears fruit in its seasons does it not? 3) a branch needs pruning of the unfruitful parts. 4) God is the one who does the pruning. 5) In Gods vine their are many forms of fruit is their not? 6) A branch that is bearing fruit of a kind in its season is its reality, is it not? ....Prayer, patience, faith etc..... So is it possible to view this passage and all be right but dissagree as well? Isnt it as silly as going to a apple tree and telling it its wrong to produce apples? Post Reply
