You ask and do not recieve because you ask with wrong motives, so that you can spend it on your own pleasures". For prayers to be answered we must be obedient to the word and instructions of the Lord. 1."YOU DO NOT HAVE BECAUSE YOU DO NOT ASK" Instruction: Ask and you will recieve. People that are OK don't need God so they cannot recieve from God. God created us as dependant not independent of Him. An independent Spirit is seperated from God. 2. "YOU ASK AND DO NOT RECIEVE BECAUSE YOU ASK WITH WRONG MOTIVE SO THAT YOU CAN SPEND IT ON YOUR OWN PLEASURES" . Our requests must be within the will of God, your motives and intent must correspond with word of God. 3. Isaiah 59:1-2 "Behold the Lord hand is not so short, That He cannot save, Neither is His hear dull, that He cannot hear. But your iniquities have made a seperation between you and your God. And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He does not hear". When we are in sin God is seperated from us, He is not deaf he can hear you but will not respond to your request until you confess, repent and turn away from you sin, then you can renew your relationship with Him. 4.Matthew 11:24 "Therefore I say to you all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have recieved them they shall be granted you". We must pray by faith, without faith you cannot please and recieve from God. 5. Always pray in the name of Jesus He is your connector to God. What do you say?. Post Reply

Posted : 8 Feb, 2012 07:39 AM Elisha you just said if I do not agree with the lord then I have a heart problem, no Elisha you put him first in all things. The problem here is the poverty of unrenewed minds. It is always dishonor when you do not agree withe word, the word of God and the lord are one. Yes we the church do have the blessing of Abraham in Christ. Post Reply

Posted : 8 Feb, 2012 09:02 AM no I did not say that, what you beliewve is contrary to the word of God PJ, Jesus is the blessing it has nothing to do with wealth or money its just Jesus and thats it, he is our blessing opur inheritnc e and our prosperity and what I said was if you thjik something other than Jesus is our blessing then you have a heart problem, what else could be a blessing to us? there is nothing else, and claiming that the blessing has anythinge to do with ANYTHING BUT jESUS CHRIST instead of lknowing and being content with Jesus being the only blessing there is, which is enough more than enough indicates a heart problem for you, thats all I said, Jesus is our blessing not money or cars or houses or anything else for that matter what he did at calvary is our prsperity anything else that you love or desire is flesh PJ Post Reply

I did mention Jesus, but I am full aware of him, thus it is my responsibility to know what The Blessing Is. It is not a matter of me being right, it is what the word of God says is truth. No again Elisha What is "The Blessing of Abraham" My Father never changes............... Jesus is the same yesterday and Forever. Do you know The Nation of Israel is under The Blessing? Post Reply

However, though no longer deceived, our experience of disillusionment may actually leave us cynical and overly critical in our judgment of others. But the disillusionment that comes from God brings us to the point where we see people as they really are, yet without any Cynicism or any Stinging and Bitter Criticism. The teaching of disillusionment Jesus did not commit Himself to them, for He knew what was in men John 2:24-25 :peace: Post Reply

Posted : 8 Feb, 2012 04:34 PM PJ the blessing has nothing to do with wealth or riches or any earthly thing and here is the scripture that tells us what the blessing is and where it came from! GALATIONS 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. now the blessing of abraham came to us through Jesus and it was the holy spirit PJ why do you talk in circles I cant understand what you are talking about that always makes me suspicious of you! Why wont you comeout and say what you think the blessing is, I just showed you the scripture that says what the blessing is, and I have said over and over the blessing was not money or possesions in any way shape form or fashion! but instread of you asking me questions and telling us what hte blessing isnt why dont you tell us what it is?
